Server & hostess was nice. Food was just ok, chicken wings could use more sauce. Shrimp boil was fairly priced and good amount. Alarm kept going out while we were there. Lady at checkout didn't say anything at all, just took money and was done. No Thank you, hello or Have a good night.
Compliments to this place! All around experience was great! Had a wonderful server that was also the hostess. Decorated seafood-like. Food was phenomenal and great prices too! We ordered the 2 combo with black mussels and head on shrimp in garlic butter mild that had just the right amount of kick to it, Cajun chicken wings, green mussels, and catfish fish fry along with calamari and cheese sticks. All that good for less than $90. Food was delicious! Would recommend this place to anyone!

This place is horrible. The customer service is horrible. The food taste like cheese. They encouraged me to move to the other side of the room when the waiter placed me on the other side.
Y'all. Y'all! This is where it's at! We opted to sit at the bar, as the table they took us to seemed so remote. Boy am I glad we did. Where else can you keep up with all the goings-on in a restaurant other than the bar. We discovered the manager was about to go on vacation, and she had been training two new bartenders. Jacob was our bartender/server, and Talia? was the other new bartender. The manager (tell me your name for heavens' sake!) was teaching them about how to manage the bar. She even let us sample a few of the drinks they were making in order to get our input. There was an absolute feeling of family in this place. In the hour or so we were there, we felt like we had been going to The Mighty Crab for years. We were on our way back to Alabama after helping our daughter move to Austin, Texas. I am so glad that Monroe, LA is about halfway between us and our daughter. We will DEFINITELY be stopping back in here EVERY time we visit our daughter!Oh, I forgot to mention, that our Seafood Platters were absolutely incredible.We like to sit at the bar often in restaurants, even though we consider ourselves to be the "old folks". This was one of our favorite times to sit at the bar. Everyone we encountered seemed to love working here. (If you don't, please let me know! I might just apply for your position! ;-) ) The manager has a great personality.Hope your vacation was a great one, manager!
Bathrooms were nasty. We ordered Lobster, Crab, Shrimp and Crawfish. The lobster was cold and tasteless. The Shrimp was gummy. The Crawfish taste fishy. I had my waitress try one and she had to spit it out. The Crawfish was removed off the ticket. The Waitress told us that the food had been frozen and then reheated. I will not return this place! Very disappointing!
Do NOT go with a party of 6 or more. They add automatic 18% tip and the servers know it. We were one of 5 tables in the restaurant at 730 on a Saturday night. We were seated with young children for over an hour before we got drinks. Our entire visit lasted over 3 hours. We would see our server, who was extremely friendly, about ever 45 minutes. Worst part? The FOOD IS DELICIOUS!It really does feel like the owners/management WANT this place to fail!! With food like that, this place should be packed on a Saturday night! Hey! Whoever you are! Here's a tip! Effective immediately--no more auto gratuity. Make your servers DO THEIR JOBS and actually work for their tip--that's the whole point of gratuity, hello! They weren't making any extra money without it automatically being charged because they are slow! They hang out, leaning against the front doors in full view of the tables who have been waiting on drinks for OVER AN HOUR!I waited tables for over 10 years and I've never stiffed a server. Last night, had I had a choice, I would have. And I would have specifically told her I did it. It was THAT bad. If you are interested in trying this place, do it quick. The staff is literally running it into the ground and the owner obviously does not care. What a waste.
Took my best friend to eat crab for her birthday. Food was decent server was great. The hostess assumed I said the restrooms were dirty and confronted me. Until the black lady spoke up and let her know she didn't say it was dirty, but asked that someone check before she went in. I was only standing there waiting in line. Terrible customer service. Don't waste the $
Decided to try since our favorites were closed for Memorial Day and the more popular had a 30 minute wait - only one review but we were hungry! We both had the fried shrimp lunch basket - very generous on the fries! Service was quick and it was tasty. I had to add salt to my fries I would have liked coke slaw but it was not available.
