Food is Awesome , recommended
First time going because I was on the hunt for shrimp and grits. Google shrimp & grits and this restaurant pulled up. Decided to take the drive since Cottons shrimp & grit is much higher if it’s not lunch time. The staff was extremely nice, I was really impressed, but the shrimp and grit was not good at all. The grits were more like mashed potatoes, sadly I only ate the shrimps. Man was I disappointed. It was too runny, no consistency at all. 22.00 wasted.
We made reservations here after my wife’s college graduation, I called a few days before and they were more than willing to accommodate our group of 15 people. Service was literally some of the best I’ve ever had especially considering a full restaurant and a large table. Everyone got from chicken over pasta to shrimp and grits and we all had clean plates at the end! Would highly recommend the BBQ shrimp with Crispy grits, goes down as some of the best I’ve ever had!
Great Food and Atmosphere
I loved everything and the atmosphere was calm. The people were very friendly and attentive. I had no problems at all and will be back for more!
Steak was not correct. Service left something to be desired. Hostess was great and another waiter filled in for ours when we couldn't find her.
I had the Shrimp Polenta tonight and it was awesome! Fresh, hot and delicious. A little understaffed but everyone is right now. Worth the wait and the portions are ample for the price15-18.00 a plate
So happy decided to get out. Extremely pleased. AMAZING service! EXCELLENT food! WONDERFUL drink!
My wife and I ordered the BBQ Ribeye w/ Shrimp and it was incredible. It's just a great combination of flavors.However, the most impressive part was the service our waiter provided. Whoever the gentleman was that took care of us around 8:30 PM on 2/19 deserves a medal. Highly recommend The Fat Pelican!
5 stars! Great Food, Great Staff, & Atmosphere.Been here twice already & haven’t been let down yet . I suggest the loaded fries! Might be one of my favorite dine in restaurants.(Love from Arkansas)
