The only reason why there's a 3rd star is for food taste and quality. The sense of urgency to get people seated is seriously lacking. Not busy at this time and it's taken 20min just to be at a table. Do you even want customers?? Do your servers even want to earn tips?? No excuse for this, especially when there's hardly any customers in the building.
The Best!! My husband and I had steaks, and Loaded potatoes. And I also had the 4oz Lobster tail! And we had Wild West Shrimp for appetizer!! Excellent!! Service, was Lacking. Food Was Fantastic!!!!
Treated well late - visiting for businessCame in a 9:15 PM on a Thursday which is always scary because it's close to closing time. I wanted to sit at the bar and was accommodated immediately. Service was not particularly fast because they were winding down from a very busy evening. However I received a delicious martini and my ribeye dinner was excellent. The bartender was friendly but slightly preoccupied with closing tasks which is OK.I ended up forgetting my credit card and when I called the next morning they cheerfully informed me that they had it and I picked it up quickly.
We came to Longhorn’s on Mother’s Day. I tried to make a reservation, but was told the Friday before, they don’t do reservations. They said to call 30 minutes before arriving. So I did to be put on the list. I was told 2 hour wait, so I checked in when I arrived. So my wait should have been 1 hour and 30 minutes at the most. After 3 hours, and people just walking in and given a table. I asked to speak to the manager. She was so rude. About 30 minutes later. My sister went to ask what was up. At this time one of the 4 people, just standing at the desk, which was a man, got in my sister’s face like he wanted to hit her. I have never seen behavior like this. I have eaten at this place before. But never again. After almost 4 hours we left. I would never be back.
Waited over an hour to be seated only to realize we were being passed by several people. We didn’t receive an apology or even admitting on. The manager acted like it didn’t happen after we brought it up. Completely ignored. I know it’s not the servers fault. I believe she covered her rear end and sit to many people at one time and because of that we sat and waited at the table with out anyone to take our order.
At 4:00 p.m. on 12-Mar-2022, I actually watched the lady working the bar purposely not wait on me. When I asked her was she about to get off work she said yes. I then asked "well is that the reason we can't place an order?" and her reply was yes. While she just began to clean the dishes from the last customer that sat here before we did, I asked her did we have to wait for her relief and her reply was yes again. It's now 4:28 and she is still here and continues to ignore us. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had at Longhorns or any restaurant for that matter. I know this review will go without reply but it needed to be said. Future customers please do not except this abuse and continue to spend your hard earn money with people that don't appreciate a job. Keyanna (the worker at the time) you do not deserve tips nor a place of employment that involves customer relations. Sincerely, the gentleman that walked out highly upset.
We thought they would be super busy tonight being Valentine's day. Waitress was super nice, food was great. So much better than in Denham Springs La. We will definitely go back. Thanks for making our dining experience a great one.
Every time I come the workers forget to put us at a table, and another time there was a mix up with who was get a table and another time we was waiting outside forever waiting on them to notify us when to come in and it was like over an hour wait. Some of the worker look like their heading spinning with stuff to do. But besides that their food is good and they have nice workers. I just believe they are over worked or something.
i remember when longhorn used to be good. now, the service is absolutely TERRIBLE.. when we went they weren’t even busy and we waited for the hostess at the front for around 15 mins.. not to mention there was a 25 min wait, buts that’s only because pretty much every empty table in the restaurant was still a mess.
The ribeye was excellent, cooked to a perfect medium. The sweet potato and cesar salad were also good. However, the Texas tononion was a little overcooked to my taste. The Whiskey Sour was found to be lacking too. Overall a pleasant experience though.
