everything was delicious And the buffet was affordable and fully stocked at all times
I am visiting from 980 miles away. I was told this was the best place for pizza around. When arriving no one is here to greet you. No one at the register to take your money. No structure. The good: when someone was available they did greet with a smile and made me feel welcome. The bad: probably some of the worst pizza I have ever eaten before in my life. Now keep in mind I am a glass half full kind of guy. I always look for the good but at this point I can find any. You are a pizza shop. That’s all you make. I can’t say your salad bar was a salad because you did not even have lettuce! The pizza, bland, boring, soggy, no flavor whatsoever, absolutely horrible. I saw a younger girl get sick from the pizza while I was inside. My cup was dirty with black flakes of mystery junk.So in conclusion, I am not a famous writer obviously or a famous food critic but I do know at least what good pizza tastes like. And this was not it.Johnny’s I don’t know how successful you are but to stay that way you need some serious help. Absolutely horrible establishment with terrible food and cleanliness. I wish you the best of luck. Not 1 star 0 stars. You deserve 0 stars.
It's a local favorite, but having traveled in my job the last 30 years, I've had better. This is rather bland: no oregano, no basil, no thyme, crust tastes like it is made from Bisquick (tm). Definitely not artisan style like I get in Little Rock and Shreveport. First time I've eaten at 18th St location after it's move from around the corner on McKeen. Thought I should give it a try. Had their buffet. Pizza is OK in general, but all looked alike. Hard to determine what was what. Surprised at BBQ sauce pizza. Spit it out. Veggie pizza OK. Pep pizza OK. Not a fan of their sausage pizza. Place is clean. Staff friendly and cordial. Salad bar could stand to have shredded carrots, bell peppers, shredded onions, diced celery on it. Restroom was clean. Good pizza
Great Pizza and Friendly Staff
Just picked up a couple of pizzas from Johnny’s on N 18th St. I had ordered two pizzas; one on extra thin crust, one on regular crust, and both well done. Both pizzas were on regular crust and neither was well done.
Whenever I go home I have to get Johnny's no matter where I go best pizza ever. If you ever go to Louisiana look one up
I love this place and grew up on it but this new location is disappointing. What happened to all the toppings on the sweep the kitchen? I ordered one the other day and the pizza had barley any toppings on it. Please go back to making Johnny's sweep what it should be and what it is at other locations again.
Wow had a fantastic meal really enjoyed d salad bar see in pizza steady coming out hot an not having to wait oh boy i love it
My first time visiting this location my pizza was over cooked & had no taste & barely no sauce. I ordered well done wings as well & they were soggy and no where near well done. I gave them another try tonight since they’re right across the street and my pizza was cooked okay this time but my wings still wasn’t well done!! Very soggy! I am definitely unsatisfied. This location needs new workers and management needs to take care of some things.
