I came to make a to go plate roughly an hour before close. I figured the selection would be limiting because of it closing soon and especially wanted the fried fish. I was right. They were just about out. I was willing to get what was left but Kathy the casher took the extra mile in customer satisfaction and prepared a fresh batch just for me. She didn't have to and I didn't ask her to but did. And for this, I will always recommend this editable to anyone and everyone
Don’t recommend. This place gave my boyfriend food poisoning! Not to mention service was poor and the small variety of food was terrible. Wasn’t worth the 30$ that it costed for just the both of us.
Great buffet to visit when you are hungry and want to eat asap. I appreciate the variety of chicken that they have
Egg drop soup and wong tong soup too old. Been under light too long on buffet. I told cashier, and I got a salad instead which I was charged $2 extra even though soup was free, it was not fresh, too old. I don't think that's right. If free soup was too old, shouldn't have charged $2 extra to replace bad soup with salad. Lost this customer.
The food was good. The only negative comment I have is: people need to supervise their children at buffets. There was a woman with her son at the buffet asking him what he wanted to eat. She asked him this at all food selections. At one point, he was was picking up food with his hands from the buffet and she did not tell him to stop. She should have asked him what he wanted prior to going to the buffet or fixed him a plate of what she knew he liked.
Good food. No wait. Wish they had frog legs and teriyaki chicken but the food they have is good.
The waitresses are rude and for a buffet they will start talking about you if you get more than one plate. You can’t complain to the guy up front because he doesn’t care how they treat the customers! Food is good but not worth the attitude you have to take from waitresses! There is a place in Rayville called the Twin Dragon so worth the drive cause food is excellent and the people are so courteous!!
I love Jade Garden! The food is always fresh when I go, and the prices are reasonable! I could eat here every day me and my husband literally!!

This is probably the worst Chinese buffet I have ever tried. It had only passing resemblance to anything I've ever had in a traditional or American-style Chinese restaurant. Everything had fake crab, small frozen shrimp or a thick sweet sauce that was like syrup. And it's way too expensive given the quality. It's just bad on every level. Seeing the glowing reviews online, I'm left to guess they are either fake reviews or written by people who have never had authentic regional Chinese dishes or good American-style.
