We’ve been here twice now. This time we all got the lasagna. It was amazing. I can honestly say it was the best lasagna I’ve ever had. Service was amazing. Wonderful atmosphere. Inside seating is fine. The outside seating is a must try. I never experienced any smell other than their amazing food. Both times I’ve been we have all been very impressed. Can’t wait to go for thirds! I’d rate it the best Italian food in the area by far!

Overall very fair Italian. Waitress was friendly and attentive, the overall atmosphere is not your typical restaurant. I had the famous lasagna, a lot of meat and not enough cheese. The portion to price for the small size was a little steep. Cheese bread was good and Ceasar salad was fair. Would probably not return, but it was worth a try.

Our first time to try. Food was great and you could tell they make it fresh. I had the combination plate( lasagna, meatball, sausage & manicotti)& husband had Chicken Alfredo, so we could try a variety of items. Everything was delicious. Can’t pick a favorite. We will be back.

Sausage was great Meatballs and spaghetti were bland No taste But Great ambiance and staff I will try again

The building is incredibly run down and does not smell nice. Luckily, we got seated outside for our dinner. the food was overall just okay, but I truly do think the atmosphere and state of the restaurant made it seem worse. the restrooms looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages and were out of soap to top it off. All and all we left the restaurant feeling icky. Wanted to love it, but I don’t think we will be back.

the best Italian food anywhere around this town.

I could not eat a single bit. The marinara tasted burnt and like ashes. Two others at our table had the same issue. I am from out of town and was always told how amazing the food was. I didn't even care for the garlic bread.

Left the restaurant about 30 minutes ago.First thing first, this place has AN AWFUL SMELL. I just made it home and my clothes SMELL like the inside of the place. The smell dominates the food taste. I'm trying to eat but all I keep doing is smelling this awful "old lady house" smell. Seriously, this alone would ruin this for me. ON TOP OF THAT, the food is simply not great. I ordered a chicken alfredo and couldn't bring myself to finish it after an HOUR wait to get it. Took it home because maybe I just didn't like it because of the SMELL messing with me, but.. the dang to-go box SMELLS like the restaurant! Seriously, they have to fix the smell of the place. I understand it's an old house and that's the "charm" of it, but the smell is awful.Secondly, they were slammed, and I know this means that people are being pulled in many directions, but the table behind us was an 8-top and we were a 2-top. The 8-top got bread, drinks, and salads, and they came in after 15 minutes after us...We waited an hour and received no bread, had to deal with the awful smell, just to finally received really bland food. Also, the restroom is outside????I'm not a person that writes reviews like this, ever. I'm not a person ranting for fun. Seriously, this part of Monroe has much better food options to choose from and you should pick those. Do not deal with this place.

Very good Italian cuisine. Make reservations and show up on time. Outside is sexy as well.

This is a homely little Italian kitchen. The food was good, and the staff were very nice.
