We sat there 3 minutes trying to get their attention to order. They had loud, boom diddyboom noise going on and couldnt hear what was being said. We ordered THREE TIMES. How do you mistake chicken for fish? Seriously? Charged us over $20 for this...then we waited...10 min later the guy walks out and tells us to pay. We already had! Then I look at my order, NO FISH. chicken. Everything was chicken. I went back to the door with the plate and had a hard time getting someone to hear me over their booming noise. Finally the guy comes to the door and after me telling him its not my order..(there were NO OTHER CUSTOMERS) HE IS TRYING TO GASLIGHT ME.They lied, tried to convince me I made a mistake. Would NOT acknowledge their mistake and would not correct it! Then they took Dannys food back and he had eaten two bites...said they werent going to make my food..they supposedly refunded our money but did not give us a reciept. Before i lost my temper, I left. She followed me out and took Dannys plate from him.Complete WASTE of time! We will NEVER go back and we will blast how badly we were treated to everyone. Absolute LAZINESS. NO EXCUSE!
Have seen this place for months. Curiosity finally got the best of me and I stopped for lunch. They did not disappoint! Fish and fries were great, hot, fresh and very flavorful! Jekyia was my server and was as good as the food.I will return !
One of the best fish and chicken spot to buy far five star rating for sure . I had a hostess to bring my food to me in the rain with no attitude and her name is Jekyia beautiful person , beautiful personality and she loves her job and that's what she told me ? . Service with a smile that what we've been missing here in Monroe , La. ... Restaurants are easy to build but a great crew is hard to assemble but thanks to Fish & Chick we've obtain that ....
Surprisingly fast delivery to your car of good tasting fish. It tasted fresh and closer to home cooked than most. I was impressed for fast food fish. I will be back.
Each time I had chicken strips, they have been juicy and tender. Even when the strips are cold the next day. Not dried out. Superb chicken strips! Would be better if they more dipping sauce choices. However, their dipping sauce is pretty good.
I from Texas and was told about this establishment buy a business partner, long story short I order 3 pieces of fish fries and a drink came up to $11.02, not bad, I tasted one of the fries and they wasn't a a tempature of my liking so I ask the service if I could have some fresh hot fries, a young man come out to my car and stated and I quote " mama we just dropped those fries " I stated no to my liking and be began to tell me that his family own this place and he wasn't going to just drop fries for me and that he didn't mind giving me my money back. now I didn't ask for my money back all I wanted was some hot fries, I also stated that as a business you are to serve what your customer like, I pray that his parents read this review and give him come coaching on how to speak to customer, I told a friend of mind that hold a very high position in the city about my experience and was told they wanted to visit but now they don't want to based on my experience. I response to the the message from the restaurant (rude ) is not in my way of living, All I asked was for some hot fries and the young man stated I can give you your money back, money is not an issue. when a customer makes a request that is reasonable it shouldn't be an issue and judging from the response the world can see the personality of the person. I prayer that God will open your eyes and understand that what is hospotality to one isn't to all . Make it an amazing day on purpose!!!!
The fish was crispy and delicious. I am not a fan of tarter sauce, but their sauce was surprisingly good. The chicken was good as well but the fish is the star.
This place has good fish and fries the coleslaw not tasty. I would have given them 4 stars but we had a long wait and the young lady took my card inside and kept it for 10 minutes that's way too long.The fish was fine but the fries were heavily covered in salt and they were not edible unless you wanted high blood pressure. Regardless of all those short comings I'll continue to support local businesses. Apparently it was a bad day.
When we first moved here, we thought this place was a gas station. Then wh we n we realized it was a good place, we said we were going to try it.Now we have tried it and have bought fish sandwiches here twice in one week. It may turn out to be our favorite catfish take out. It has the closest taste to the catfish take outs back in Chicago, IL. And there is no hot seasoning on it, just fresh fish all the way.
