The ribs was grabage today over priced will never eat there again unless someone convince me things have changed. This used to be the place to go.
This is not the best BBQ in the area, I would recommend podnuhs or BBQ West or eating something else entirely, because my experience here was pretty poor. The food is not that quality, the brisket was some of the toughest meat I've ever had, the sides are okay and the restaurant is clean enough but prices are high for what you get. I would have to be convinced to go again.
It was our first visit. And we really enjoyed it. They allowed us to taste the meats when we came to the order station. Which made our choices easier. Then after choosing the meat, they gave us our plates and told us to serve ourselves with the vegetables, sides, and/or salads. They even got me some vinegar for my greens.When we walked out of there we were full as could be, and satisfied.The counter service was the best. And the restaurant was clean.We wore our masks in, but removed them only while we ate. Masks are required to get service. That made us happy.I do think these type of restaurants should have packaged wet wipes for their customers. So we can wipe things down at the tables, when we dine in.I Say, try It. My family went into this restaurant to enjoy ourselves and hopefully have a good meal . What we did not expect is to have a employee make very ugly comments about family members in our group . There was absolutely no reason for this other than Poncho the employee to make it very clear he did not want to be there . Not only this a co worker also chimed in laughing . When is right to have employees be bullying customers . Something had happed prior to us between the employees and everyone looked like did not want to be around the cook. All employees should work together as a team , there was no team work , I will not return to a business where bullying is allowed . I fully believe in supporting local hometown businesses. Again negative treatment of customers should not be allowed .
My family went to the restaurant hoping for some good food and enjoy family time . The restaurant staff were not working together as a team and the employee Poncho let it be known to everyone in the building he did not want to be there , having customers seeing this anger and hate consumed by this man they walked out . As we walked down the line with our order rude comments and laughing were made about someone in my family . There was no cause for this . I have reached out to the owners of this restaurant with no response . I fully believe in supporting local businesses but I will not support a business that supports bullying from it’s staff and not being able to control the restaurant floor.

My wife and I have eaten here several times. I have always liked the atmosphere and the bbq Is always abundant and great!!
Truly a disgrace for it to be a restaurant, you expect customers to pay high prices for old food, with no flavor, and you even refuse to serve your guest the way they would like to be served. If your looking for good BBQ with outstanding customer service this is NOT the place.
This is one of my favorite places to go when I come home. I wish Daken Trail had locations all over. Reasonable prices for the portions of food, friendly customer service and most of GOOD FOOD!
Terrible no flavor in any of the sides and why a 2$ extra charge for sweet dry brisket. BBQ West is way better
