Awesome southern food. Try the gator bites
My second time to eat there and my last, first time there everything was great jumbo fried shrimp, this time it looked like they tried to fantail popcorn shrimp and charge for jumbo shrimp. Very disappointed they should of advised that they didn’t have jumbo shrimp.
We had a family get together for my nephew's birthday and picked up a big order to eat at home. It was delicious, prepared on time and with excellent value. The line of people to get in to eat was long (always a good sign for tasty food). We were so happy with everything we ordered.
A local legend with delicious fried catfish. Tonight was my first night. The menu had a lot to choose from, but if you coming to Catfish Charlies it would just be wrong not to get some catfish, so i did. The quality surprised me, im normally a tuna or salmon seeker. It was really good and big pieces too. They gave me an extra piece. I also ordered a cup of seafood gumbo. It had a nice oyster in it and wished i had gotten the bigger bowl. Ill have to next time and try them frog legs. ? made a good ending to a challenging day.
The owner is amazing. We had driven in from Dallas and planned on making Catfish Charlie's our first stop. But it closes early on Sundays. We returned on Monday and the Manager walked up to greet us. He suggested a menu item but we already knew what we wanted. We explained how we love eating there when visiting and the disappointment that we felt when we learned it was closed for the day. He apologized when he did not have to. After we sat down to eat, a waitress came over to our table and delivered the dish that he suggested but we did not order. SOOOOO DELICIOUS. Southern hospitality at its finest!

First and last time getting good from them. Not only is the drive-through cockeyed and difficult to get to the window, the cashier was less than helpful. While my order was right, the cost was not worth the food that I paid for. Plus they charged me a non-cash fee. Terrible place to eat. Too expensive. The employees don’t know what’s going on. And charging me a fee because I used a credit card without telling me. Not the kind of place I want to spend my hard earned money!
The fish fries and shrimp was great. I wasn't a fan of the hush puppies though. The Dine in area is nothing fancy but it's comfortable and inviting. The service was friendly and helpful. The fountain drinks were perfect and they even have an icee machine. I'll definitely visit again.
