Standard Applebee's chain location. Service and food was good.They don't have a quality guarantee that you will get a good alcoholic mixed drink for the nonrefundable price you pay. That was communicated during ordering, which made us opt out of buying drinks. Most places at least replace a subpar drink. It made it seem like they don't have good bartenders there (or maybe they have a lot of deadbeat customers?). We didn't care to find out.

I would rather get stung by an actual bee than come here again. First of all the server sat us at a table with 2 menus for a party of 5 and never came back? Then when we did receive our food surprise! One of us didn't because somehow they forgot an entire meal which I didn't receive until the rest of my party was practically done eating!!! Then proceeded to forget a side of broccoli, a water, AND THE CHECK ? they also didn't have any fish which isn't their fault but it was very tragic but +1 star because the waitress was friendly and we had a nice conversation

Great waiter; by the time we left wifey was calling him by first name (Michael) It was about 15 people in our group and we were all served great. We ordered way to much food and to go boxes came before we even asked. Great place for lunch an plus a good dinner ?️ ENJOY...

Haven't been to an Applebee's in a long time. Usually just ok food that you wouldnt go out of your way for. This was different. The food was better than average however what made this experience great to give 4 stars was the staff here. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Not just the staff waiting on me. Almost every one of them said hello to me, asked how my day was going, or if everything was going well while in there. If back in Monroe I will stop in again.

I wish I had more positives to say about this restaurant because my bartender was really nice and I could tell she was really trying - poor thing nas been picking up after the kitchen mistakes for awhile and you can tell.My med-rare steak came out raw.The pretzels were doughy (on the side of raw) and the cheese sauce tasted like flour and was served in a to-go container, half-full?When I finally got my steak (after sending it back, something I HATE to do) it was almost inedible because of the amount of salt on it.I paid $26 for a steak cooked incorrectly and had the saltiness of a pickle.The mashed potatoes tasted like they came straight from a packet. The broccoli was the best thing on my plate and they were most certainly frozen just 5 minutes before they hit my plate.Not to mention, in the middle of a global pandemic - not a single precaution was taken.I have NEVER written a bad review based on food before - I have pretty low standards - I will eat anything. Anything but this.The beer was fine - but I don't know how you could mess that up. I will update my review if I get food poisoning.

Food was ok, but service was the worst I have had a restaurant in years. My daughter and I arrived and they were not particularly busy for a Sunday evening around 6:20 PM. Got seated and waited over 20 minutes before being greeted or anyone taking our drink order. Several servers were seated at a table in the bar area eating, and other servers saw us there but either or server was missing or no one informed her she had a table. She finally noticed a table that was seated after us and took their drink and food order before coming to see us. We finally got our drinks and made an order. Food came out timely, but that would be the last time we saw our server for another half hour or longer. We finished our food without her ever checking on us or refilling our drinks. Then, I had to sit and look around for 10-15 minutes trying to pay so we could leave. The thought of dining and dashing crossed my mind because no one would have noticed. Finally, I had to stand in the aisle and hold my credit card in the air to get attention. With service like this, I am surprised they are still open. I know I will not be back.

The worst service I have ever experienced for any dining experience. The waiting staff took over 30 minutes to bring water never came to bring menu for another 29 minutes the table was sticky and the overall cleanliness was horrible. Staff standing in groups talking only one waitress trying to give service. She was the only bright spot about the place. After an hour and half we left.

Had take out this Friday, steak, side salad and loaded mashed potatoes. The salad and potatoes were passable, but the steak was with out much flavor and EXTREMELY chewy! So disappointed

We did the 2 for $29 combo which came with an appetizer. There were maybe a handful of customers at this time. Someone brought out our meals and then ran off before I got to mention that we still did not receive our appetizer. I was just about done with my plate when the waitress finally came by and I let her know about the appetizer. She forgot to put it in. Normally I wouldn't mind because things like this happen sometimes. But she just acted like this was completely normal. She didn't apologize or anything and it was brought out when we were done eating. If it weren't for this I would have given them a five. The staff was incredibly nice otherwise and the food was great. I got the grilled chicken and shrimp in a garlic butter sauce with mashed potatoes and my daughter got the cheesy penne pasta with grilled chicken (I forget the actual name).

I will NEVER come to this location again! The last two times I went got horrible service the first time, and didn't even get acknowledged the second time and we sat in the bar. It was my daughter's birthday and she requested applebees but we left after sitting there 15 minutes without having anyone approach us! Unacceptable! I come from a server background and even had a 20 tip ready but another server at another restaurant earned it instead! His name is Tas and he works at Copelands, if your looking for great service and hot food go there and ask for him. Be wise and do go here
