Myself and my wife was in town to fly out on our vacation. So we had the night in Metairie. We were in vacation mode wearing shorts and flip flops. She wanted Italian . So we went to Vincent’s. The food was great , but the service was ok. As soon as we walked the host look at us and we asked if there was a table available. We were seated but , just had feeling we were looked down upon because of our dress. If they had dress code , and we were not in compliance don’t let us in . Would not have hurt my feelings. But the food was good

The service was excellent! Everybody was extremely friendly. The crab cakes were excellent. I only had the small salad that comes with your meal but it had this scrumptious Italian balsamic dressing that I really loved. Didn't get dessert but did get an after meal coffee. I have to say, this is the only restaurant that I've been to in New Orleans area that actually has a decent cup of coffee. It was a strong cup of coffee which is what I like. I haven't been here in a while but I would definitely go back again.

We have been so excited to try Italian in Louisiana and specifically Vincent's. We heard so many great things about the restaurant and the reviews on Google and yelp were pretty high. We decided to go today and upon arrival saw several men outside on the front patio having drinks and a good time. The weather was great so we were excited to sit outside and have a great meal. The gentleman at the front door was seated on a chair and didn't acknowledge us upon entry. We were not sure I'd he worked there but it turned out he did. After several minutes he asked if we needed anything. I said yes ...we would like a table fir two. We asked of we could dine outside and he told us "no we don't serve food on the patio ...it's considered their waiting area until an inside table becomes available" the restaurant wasn't full on the inside and the men on the patio weren't earing so we took him at his word. He states us at a small take for two. We didn't think this was an issue but there was a serving table blocking one of the chairs. No big deal so my friend just moved it herself. Or waiter, Austin, was extremely nice and responsive to all of our questions about the menu. The food was great and we told Austin we would definitely be back and gave him a 30% tip. When we walked outside we noticed two tables were occupied by patrons eating and enjoying food and drinks. I went back in the restaurant and asked about the criteria for eating on the patio. The same gentleman who we initially spoke to at the door told us the female outside was his girlfriend. She was eating with a friend. I asked him about the two gentlemen who were also outside packing up their meals and he told me nobody else was out there eating even though by that time the gentleman had left their wine glasses and left. I say all of this because all of the patrons outside did not look like us. We are two black females and the patrons allowed to eat on the patio were Caucasian. At this point we were offended and refuse to eat at Vincent's again. Please note thus was the Metairie location. We left disappointed and refuse to eat at Vincent's again. If anyone reads this in Vincent's management please note we were very pleased with Austin's service and attention to us. Unfortunately, our first and last vist/ experience at Vincent's will be our last due to the interaction with the gentleman at the front door. Also please note the incident occurred 4/13 around 6:30 pm.

This was our second trip here in the last month. Our first time, we wrote off due to the snooty waiter. The food was good. This time, it started off great. But after our food was delivered, our waiter didn't come back until he dropped off our bill. He was nice enough but he just dropped the ball. We were stopping other waiters to get another glass of wine. Which we never got by the way. Our food was good but we both agreed that we probably won't go back here. We can get just as good or better at many other places in the area. And, no point going out of our way for this place. They give you the impression that if you're not a regular there you aren't really welcome. Good for them. We don't need to give them any more of our money.

First of all WHERE IS THE FIRE MARSHAL? No other restaurant could get away with this seating! . Let me guess Louisiana business as usual! The Olive Garden gave better service The food was so over salted it made us sick! Our experience is when food is over salted it’s old. And as for the greeting as you walked in the door by the Lamborghini owner Vincent he looks like Alzheimer’s has been setting in for a while. If you meet and greet someone at the door you shouldn’t run a restaurant

Always have the Best experience and meals here

Wonderful service! Excellent food!Great price point!A epicurean delight! Can't wait to eat there again!

Great experience. The food was great. The atmosphere was very nice and the waiter Jason was very professional, pleasant and helpful. We’ll be back.

At the very least, management should be concerned about the waste of oil and heavy cream that was wasted on our inedible (and expensive/overpriced) "meal". Everything ordered was a grease pit and swimming in slush. Also waste of money: whole bay leaves in pasta dishes? New one to me. What isn't a waste of money is ours as we will never "dine" in this trough again. Good luck and good riddance.

Beautiful and intimate. Vincent’s was one of the best places I’ve had the pleasure of dining in. The owner himself was there and spoke with us, and other patrons. The food is flavorful, and the staff is friendly. Parking can be a nightmare if you don’t luck up and get a spot. But the dining experience is worth it. They have a really good bar tender! Best drink I’ve had!
