We were very pleasantly surprised by Station 6. It has a relaxed, non-pretentious atmosphere where you can dress up or down. The food tasted as good as it looked, with service to match. There were seats available inside and on the patio when we arrived around 5:15, but there appeared to be a short wait by the time we left (maybe 6 or 6:15). If you're debating whether to order dessert, just do it.
Too crowded not too long wait friendly staff good service though i dont recommend The inside couch is small , the seats are not comfortable , the chicken sandwich is regular . The food is good the shrimp appetizer is good the tuna tartar , Grilled fish , spinach dip good , the fried shrimp normal

We had lunch on the patio on a beautiful Spring day. Our server, James, was welcoming and friendly, and provided great service. The food was prepared and presented beautifully, and tasted amazing. I look forward to visiting again, hopefully for dinner.
I believe in 2nd chances and went back for dinner. This time the service matched the food quality and taste. Our server and manager/greeter were phenomenal. My guest and I felt valued and appreciated. My most recent experience earned 5stars.First Experience 2 Stars: Manager/Greeter: initially she was very unwelcoming. I understand her desire to be firm with her procedures (all guest must be present to be placed on table list) however it is possible to make your guest feel welcomed and valued with a smile and non-condescending tone. When my party of four was getting ready to leave she did come out to say thank you with a beautiful smile.Server: initially he was amazing, however as the night went on we were not his table of choice. Requested additional simple syrup for my drink- never received it. Requested a side of white rice- never received it. He rarely came back to our table to get a pulse or provide an update to on my request. What made it so disappointing is I watched him go back and forth to two tables inside the restaurant and a third one on the patio where we were sitting. None of those other tables had to beck for his attention-he serviced them properly. There were distinctive differences between the tables that he may have favored them over us.Food: price, portion and taste amazing. I had blackened puppy drum & shrimp with green beans. My plate was empty. The only thing that would have made it better would have been some mashed potatoes (on the menu but could only be served with the special).I want to return for the food but the service is giving me second thoughts.
My first time dining at Station 6 was a wonderful experience. We celebrated my husband's birthday. We enjoyed everything so much that we returned 2 days later for more. There was 5 different types of fish to choose from on the menu. The place was quaint and the atmosphere was welcoming! We will definitely visit again. No reservations necessary so arrive early.
This place is AMAZING!! The staff works so hard and turns tables over so efficiently. Very prompt and welcoming waiting staff. Food was super quick and yummy. 10/10 would recommend!!
5 ⭐️ - a hidden gemIf you are looking for a place outside of bourbon street, this is a definite must! Everything was pretty darn solid and service is awesome. It will be difficult to pick a favorite as they were all awesome.Save some room for dessert…the doughnut bread pudding is the ?!
The best food I have had in New Orleans area! This is actually the one in Metairie. Wonderful staff, super friendly & helpful! Seriously, this place is one of the best!! Thank you Station 6
