Neighborhood place that gets busy for lunch crowd and on fridays. There is something for everyone. There are salads, seafood, varieties of Italian dishes with a New Orleans spin on them.
Shrimp & crab cake pasta. Soooo good
Bad service. Brought wrong soup. Then brought wrong entree. No apologies. At least took off bill the wrong entree. Server was awful. Food was great!!!
41 for lunch; pre-ordered salad, main course and bread pudding. Salad and dessert were excellent. Spaghetti and meatballs less so. Very pleasant atmosphere in a quiet residential neighborhood next to a levee.

Our party had 5 different selections and all were excellent. Tasty and made fresh per order. We closed the restaurant down and never felt intrusive or rushed to leave. Our waiter Tim was top notch on service, advice and personality.
Made a reservation on a Saturday night for 730, for 11 people, a member of the party arrived at 8pm and they were told we didn't have a reservation. When I arrived at at 810 the host, older man, said I did not have a reservation but when I told him the phone number he said you are late. He was with whom I spoke with to make the reservation. To sum this up he was extremely rude and basically wanted to argue. At that point, I said I am not going to argue with you. We then got a drink and as we were getting a drink a waitress said where are they going? VERY RUDE STAFF!!! WE LEFT!!! I WOULD PRESUME THE OWNER IS NOT AWARE OF THIS!
Got chicken liver with mashed potatoes & vegetables, but served with new potatoes. I told our waitress it’s ok I will eat the new potatoes. My sister got red beans & rice with a pork chop but accidentally served with 2 chops. She started to cut the chops another waitress came and grabbed the plate with the 2 chops and said you only get one. This is someone else’s order. I hope she didn’t serve the 2 chops to someone else after my sis already put her fork in them. She was so concerned about the 2 chops, but didn’t say anything about my mashed potatoes. Why was she so concerned about a table that wasn’t even hers. Won’t be back. Don’t know where the food been.
Took my Aunt and had veal parmagin and she had lasagne. Very good service and friendly people. Have had there fried seafood and chicken excellent. Cooked to perfection and not greasy at all.
This is a true neighborhood restaurant. Very little parking. Good NO type food. Red beans and rice etc. The waiter was great. You will find locals not a tourist type restaurant.
