Came for lunch on a Sunday. I came right after opening and it wasn't too busy, but quickly filled up. Everything was clean and tastefully decorated. I had the scalloped crab with veggies. For dessert I had the peach cobbler. All of it was delicious and perfectly plated. One stall in the women's restroom was so small, my knees touched the door. All was well otherwise.
Food was really good, no waiter for 15 minutes. But once he showed up he was good. Panned trout was a little dry. Fried fish and shrimp really good
The location on Carrollton had an extremely long wait, so we ended up here in Metairie. The vibe here was totally different, very dull, boring and uncomfortably warm. However, our server was excellent! We started with a half dozen chargrilled oysters. They weren’t the best, and although they weren’t terrible, I wouldn’t get them again. The shrimp poboy had the potential to be decent BUT the shrimp had not been deveined. That was a total turn off. The other guest had the peach cobbler and liked it. But for $9, it was literally 2 bites of cobbler and a scoop of ice cream. I definitely wouldn’t return to this location, but may consider trying the Carrollton location again.
This is one of my most favorite spots to go and eat, all of their food is so good! I always ask for Heather G as my server, by far the best service I have ever had! She always makes sure we are all very well taken care of, highly recommend to ask for her! ?
Very great place to get homemade fresh meals! One of the best places for oysters in the area! Santana was my waitress and she was the best! She is very informative and knowledgeable about what she is selling! I will be back to see Santana and have some delicious oysters again soon!!
Service and voices of God were excellent. Portions were very good, and price was acceptable. Great ambiance, a bit noisy at times, but all around a very good dining experience.
Came on a Friday night and even though we had to wait 45 minutes it was worth it! We sat at the bar and had a few drinks while we waited. We had the Charbroiled oysters and the Southwestern Oysters and they were to die for! Better than we have had anywhere else in the city. I can’t wait to come back and try everything else on the menu. Absolutely recommend this place if you are in the mood for some good seafood.
Very disappointing service. Ordered a burger (well-done) to go, after dining in, and when I got home it was pink all the way through. Food in the restaurant was equally disappointing and overpriced. I’ll never return. That’s really what they call their crawfish bread sadly. And the bread was hard.
Close to airport and easy interstate access. Absolutely perfect oysters. A dozen with a cup of chicken and sausage gumbo just right for a preflight snack. Old Dixie (whatever the new name is) and Abita on draft go well with the oysters. Great service even mid afternoon. A go to for sure.
Great home cooking! Classics Italian & Creole dishes. Not a bad thing on the menu. The staff treated us like we were family even though we had never been there before. We love this place!
