Absolutely fantastic! Tried almost everything on the buffet and not one thing wasn't absolutely delicious. Took a coworker here for lunch today and the immediate response was "Well, I think I know where were having lunch tomorrow!" For 12.34 you can not get a better lunch. I'm amazed there isn't a line out the door here. This is also some of the best bread pudding ever, with an awesome rum sauce and yes, you can taste the rum in it. Delicious! ? ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The whole dining experience has always been exceptional to me. I frequented LPK way back before Hurricane Katrina. The food was great then and remains to be until today. Hats off to the whole staff.
We had our family reunion dinner there 2 years ago and everyone loved it! This year our reunion was in Jackson, MS but we came down here just to enjoy dinner again. Great service, food just like I remembered. Only downfall was that I got full too quick! Lol Highly recommend!!!

We just took a group from school, they were very receiving of 13 junior high kids, ample parking for the bus, extremely clean, excellent, hot, fresh food, and top notch service!!
So I went here about 3pm.. hungry...food all tasted great...but, half the buffet line was not hot...but...I ate my 15 dollars worth.
This place is amazing. I long for it every time I travel through NO and have to go, even out of my way, to eat it. The bread pudding is AMAZING, especially that brandy sauce they make, it's got a whole bottle of VSOP in it, I watched them make it. And the chicken, and shrimp, and cornbread, and greens... don't pass this up, go out of your way.
I eat lunch at Louisiana Purchase Kitchen, with friends. Food is served buffet style. Lots of good, home cooked food. Easy on the Wallet. Those folks are so sweet. They remember their repeat customers and greet us knowingly. If they don't remember our names, they remember our faces.
