First impressions, the door and windows into the place, dirty, smuggy. The inside, dirty. No surface was clean. The burger was big, bun soft. Is it fresh ground meat, dont think so. There was no pink to it and super soft. Pre cooked? Out side of burger had lots of pepper, inside bland. Fries were straight out of the freezer. $26 for 2 burgers, 2 fries and one drink. You can get a better burger some other place.
I have been going to the Lee's location on Veteran's Blvd. since 1990. Last Summer we went to the Metarie Road location because it was closer to our hotel. We were staying near the WWII Museum. My Son, two of my Grandson's were in NOLA to visit the museum. There was a "Manager" who was very rude, demeaning, over critical of his employee's. It was very unnerving listening to his constant berating of everything they did. On top of that their burgers were not even close to the burgers at Lee's on Veteran's. We won't be back to this location.
We placed and order from our office today and was extremely disappointed.The fries were burned and very hard. We called and spoke with the manager in hopes of having the problem rectified after spending so much money. He was VERY RUDE AND SAID THAT THERE WAS NO WAY THAT COULD BE because he fried them himself. The other ladies were also not satisfied with their burgers or chicken strips.Regardless of what he felt was sufficient may not have been what our quality expectations were requiring,And we are entitled to that opinion when spending our money. Ive always been taught that the customer's satisfaction should always be a priority and taken into consideration . I informed him that we would Definitely not be ordering from there again, and he seemed very unbothered!!Customer Service is not what it use to be,and these businesses wonder why they are struggling to stay a float.Word of mouth with good service is better than any billboard advertisement.
I will be calling the sanitation department. The owner should be ASHAMED. The employees are literally stealing from customers: customers who pay for their order, don’t get what they paid for, and then the employees have the audacity to argue even with a receipt to prove it (let’s not even go over the fact their order was placed 5 minutes before.)This happened to ALL 3 of the people in the restaurant while I waited. I doubt a single paying customer gets a correct order. And then the manager stood there and bad mouthing the customer after they left... when it was his fault!!! Absurd!!!!Disgusting establishment, management, and food.
Me and my co worker both say it's the worst non flavor burger. Way overpriced and crrap food. The guy on the register teaching in the fries eating them after canding peoples cards and money. NEVER AGAIN
The best hamburgers, shrimp po-boys and unbelievable onion rings! Service is outstanding. Can't wait to go back!
Like many reviewers stated, this place is disgusting. The woman behind the counter was the only redeeming thing about this place as she was super nice. Table was sticky. Cheesesteak meat was unseasoned. Onion rings were tasteless. Bread tasted old. There were at least 50 fruit flies near the drink machine. Worst part was watching the cook, the older gentlemen, touch raw cheeseburger patties, then touch other numerous things including the trash can, NOT CHANGE HIS GLOVES, then touch the raw meat patties again!!! I gagged knowing my son at a burger. I will NEVER be back. Clean this disgusting restaurant and teach your staff proper glove and food handling procedures!!!!
Still one of the best Burgers around .Fresh ground beef with seasoning to perfection and onions kneaded into the meat before its cooked.
Grease, grease, PS- grease. My Philly cheesesteak tasted like grease- not steak. The owner guy was so mean to the poor girl taking orders too. And it is dirty AF. Yuk.
I'm rarely one to leave a bad review, but this was more than necessary.The older gentleman who seemed to be in charge was completely disrespectful to his employees and other customers who were in line before me. I wouldn't have stopped to eat here if I knew I had to listen to him in the background yelling at employees. The employees were working hard, yet the manager was very condescending towards them. Also, the location is ridiculously unclean - it seems as though the place has not been cleaned in years. Grease is on every surface in the place - sticky tables, counters, and floor.Even when the food (Fried Catfish Basket) was the best I've had in NOLA, the service and lack of cleanliness really hurts this place. I'll find another location, but will not come here again.
