Let me first say I love the glaze beignets at Joes. My issue is they refuse to take phone orders and for the second time I made an order online that processed on my credit card and when I get there to pick up my order (well within hours of operation) they are not open. Last time I called every day for 4 days without getting a callback from anyone there before my refund posted. I’m on day 3 this time so maybe I get a refund tomorrow. If you are not going to take customer orders over the phone turn off online ordering and at the very least give someone a callback and let them know the issue is being resolved.

This was my first time visiting Joe's Cafe & Donut. I absolutely love it. There were so many different types of very fresh donuts ready to go. The service is absolutely terrific. The lady behind the counter was so nice. It took me a good minute to decide what to get. But to be totally honest with you, Am crazy for Donut Holes, and that's what I got. Some of the freshest donut holes I've had. One order is 24 donut holes. Which was very cool because that's what I wanted.
I ordered food online for pickup a quarter of a distance there I get a phone call .That the cook did not come in I was coming from across the causeway thinking that my order was being prepared but wasn't. And then when you want your money back they tell you 5 to 7 business days before they give you your money back but they don't have a problem taking your money like that you can't reach the manager . Very very disappointed on my experience today.
Super great staff. Even though it was very busy for breakfast they were still outstanding. Randy was very helpful. Once we were served he made sure we had everything we needed. My husband and I mostly stay home and rarely go out so THANK YOU for the great experience.
I am new to new orleans. Today (2/2) I went to Joe's Knows Cafe to get a Bavarian filled king cake. The server gave me a traditional king cake. When I asked her if it had Bavarian cream she said no, but I'll get you one. She came back with a cake that looked really messy in the package. After I got home I discovered she gave me the same king cake, but with 3 random squirts of Bavarian cream around the outside of the cake. VERY DISAPPOINTED this isn't what is advertised on their web site.
Unbelievable customer service! There was a line, but those two ladies were greeting and meeting all their customers needs! Fresh doughnuts and King Cake! ???
The omelet was pretty good but potatoes are my thing and their hashbrowns were horrible. They had a rubber like texture, and the only thing I could taste on them was oil, literally like rubber, this is not an exaggeration. I can not stress this enough, do get the hashbrowns.
Joe's was good..I arrived at 11:45 but was informed that they were closing at 12pm due to it being Christmas Eve, but Evelyn our server was still very nice and patient with us..I appreciate her service and hospitality..Merry Christmas to The Joe's Cafe Family✝️⛄??
Staff was so friendly! Big kudos to the two women for the great customer service. As busy as it was when I went on a Saturday morning they still did a great job. Ms. Vee was super sweet & friendly! Shrimp & grits were AMAZZZING! Best I’ve tasted & ive tried several shrimp and grits. The donuts are good as well. We’ll be back again!
