I always enjoy eating the Pho and tung makes the Best! Hands down! Used to go to st roch market and now here. So worth it! I brought my wife which is from the UK to experience the greatness!
Although the workers were amazing. I was completely unhappy with my food. Last time I ordered the cheese fries it was cheese sauce and absolutely amazing. So my second time ordering I decided to get them again. They used shredded cheese this time which I can't stand. I called and asked why didn't they use the sauce. She said they don't always use the cheese sauce. I feel that is something that should have been said. I wouldn't have spent $7 on the cheese fries. I would've gotten something else.
I have been dying to try this place and today I finally got that opportunity! Everything one the menu looks amazing, so it was very hard to decide. We ended up going with the C.R.D (crab Rangoon dip), a pork belly bao, a brisket bao and the bang bang shrimp bahn mi.It was all delicious and I will definitely back!If I could change one thing though, it would be the loud music. The music was turned up a bit too much for me. I felt that I had to project my voice for my fiancé to hear me. It still isn’t going to stop me from going back though!
Very tasty foodSpring rolls have all the right vegetables and they are huge! The peanut sauce is amazing too. The pork belly bao was also very good. I'll come back happily!
Lemon grass pork Banh mi was great; fries were hot and crispy perfect salt. Will return to try more of the menu.
Fantastic food. The brisket pho is amazing. The smokiness of the bbq added so much richness to the pho. Everyone was super friendly. We will be back!
I ordered 2 shrimp poboys and one shrimp spring roll.This is by far the worst shrimp Poboy I’ve had in New Orleans. Lacks taste, the shrimp chews like rubber, and you have to add your your own sauce and seasoning on the poboy. Their menu is outdated and inaccurate, you will not receive what you order, missing items, etc. The shrimp spring roll lacked flavour, crunch, and anything that is appetising. I would never eat there again. Waste of time and money. It was a horrible experience.
Em Trai is one of my favorite places for lunch or dinner. I recommend the Bang Bang Shrimp sandwich and the pulled chicken pho soup! Super high quality food in a casual dining room.
