Food is very good! In fact they make some of the best crab cakes I’ve ever had. Eggs Benedict was good, and I’m considering the “Crabby Benedict” which is no longer on the menu, but evidently still orderable could be just as good if not better. Today the best order award goes to the Banana Foster French toast which was exquisite! Wife and kids absolutely loved it.
My eggs Benedict was cooked perfectly and delicious. My husband's omelette met his expectations. I would definitely recommend going here for breakfast
This rating has to be changed from 5-2, because of hands and lack of cleanliness of some employees. I feel the push for high standards has dropped. I personally observed an employee come in for shift and immediately start working with the food. Never washed hands or went into the back. Just stayed in the front with us and helped. No I can only assume since the restaurant was packed, he was called in to assist. But, please wash your hands and wear gloves when handling food. Not just mine! Then, then employee that was already there, went out to smoke and came in only to start right back in the front working. Daisy Dukes is now a hard no for me. If that is the behavior in the front of the house, I cringe at what takes place behind the swing door to the kitchen.
I ordered a cheese omelet on July 7, 2022. I was served promptly and enjoyed the omelet, toast and grits. The problem arose when I was charged $9.95 instead of the menu price of $8.95. The waitress explained that the prices had changed but the menus had not been updated. I asked to see the manager, but was told that he was not there. I left my name and number but no one has called me. I will not be going back, NOT BECAUSE OF THE $1.00, BUT BECAUSE I CONSIDER THIS A POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE AND NO ONE BOTHERED TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE.
This place only serves breakfast and the food is really sub par. With so many good restaurants in New Orleans, I would choose a different one. Great service but it didn't make up for bad food.

The food was awesome! As of right now they are only serving breakfast but it was exactly what we came for. Seafood omelet was packed with chunks of seafood and cheese and was wonderful. The kids loved the waffles. We did not get disappointed with what we ordered and I do not think you will either.
I was sent here to pick up for door dash I arrived on time and walked inside it took 10 minutes for a employee to acknowledge I was there and waiting after they made eye contact with me seeing I was waiting finally when one of them came close enough I asked about the order they went to the back and check and I was told it would be a few minutes fast forward I’ve now been waiting 25 minutes and had to ask another employee where was the order they went to check and was told it would be another 10 minutes at which time I left I own a business and this is bad customer service a restaurant shouldn’t expect to go orders they can’t fulfill I understand what it is like to be busy and short handed but what I’ve learned is to greet people immediately explain the current situation and always thank them for being patient and understanding I’ve eaten personally here before and will never go back nor will I recommend this restaurant to anyone

We had to build our own Ecuadorian Breakfasts, all the ingredients came separately, I asked for no chorizo and still got it, but no Pico, which is a main ingredient for this dish. Also, I’m allergic to Avocados and they still put avocados, and it was touching the cheese and the container that all the food was in! I ordered biscuits and gravy below you’ll see that it was also “builds your own” and by the way the biscuits were horrible!!! Tasted like they put sugar in them! I used to love the food here, but this takes the cake! I also used to work there, clearly the owner should just sell, because he can’t run the place! Like my husband said “it’s sad when IHOP is out doing the local breakfast joint”…. NEVER AGAIN! Like I said I used to work there, take my advice DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY, go to ihop or Denny’s…. He’s dragging the Daisy Dukes brand down!
