The service was good but the food was very lackluster. We were expecting much more flavor, especially for the cost. We will visit again to try once more.

Chose this place for my last good meal before belly surgery. Place was loud. The food was awesome! Service was great.

Great food and service. We ordered the special, seafood risotto. Great flavor and fresh ingredients. Topped it off with banana bread pudding. Absolutely great experience

Hubby and I did date last night, first time for me going to Dab’s. I love Chicken Fricassee but I haven’t found many places that can make it like my MawMaw used to make it. I also haven’t been able replicate it on my own. Chef made it identical as my MawMaws. It was great. Hubby had the special, grilled Redfish. We both eat so much we had stomach aches when we got home. Our server, Donna, was very attentive and sweet. We had been looking for a friendly, non-chain restaurant with bar for the nights we just want to chill. We will definitely will be going back.

The food and the atmosphere was great! You receive large portions. Our server Maddie was extremely attentive! I strongly recommend.

Delicious food! Great staff! Tasty cocktails! We left delightfully full.

Chef Duke and his staff did an amazing job creating a menu and opening up their restaurant during the off hours to handle a reception for my mother’s funeral. We are so grateful for their professionalism and their expertise, during this most stressful time. The food was superb and plentiful for our 35+ guests. The atmosphere was comforting and we were able to relax, converse and reminisce about my mother and father’s life together. Thank you again for a memorable repast. We look forward to eating at Dan’s Bistro regularly.

Decided to try this place after seeing it on facebook. I started off with a cup of chicken and sausage gumbo that was really good. It tasted fresh and it was a really nice dark color, how its suppose to be. It had a hint of spice that was just right but wasn't too much. Great flavor. I then tried the egg plant which was decent but not my favorite. My main and favorite entree was the shrimp and grits, it had a really good flavor that blended nicely with the grits and nice size shrimp. my only 2 complaints is that the food was rushed, i usually like to enjoy each entree buy itself and not one on top of the other, which makes me question how fresh the egg plant and shrimp and grits were. The temperature seemed to be off on both entrees and they could of possibly been microwaved. Usually you can tell this when the surface of the plate, where there is no food /rim of the plate is hot. That seemed to be the case. Still... Everything tasted great and had interesting flavors. I would definitely try this place again. Waitress was nice and service was great. Owner was by the bar and told me thank you as I was leaving..

We did the Easter Brunch first time there , simply delicious, shrimp and grits the ‘ bomb!

The food is excellent. I had spaghetti bolognese. loved the bread pudding. Our waitress was the Best, ask for Cami. Chef Duke visited with us. We will be back.
