I've only recently discovered this place but it's been there forever. Good food, something on the menu for everyone. Old New Orleans neighborhood place with an upscale flair. There's an oyster bar, awesome Bloody Marys, and whatever else you might want.

My husband's meal which was a stacked dish that was suppose to be their best selling dish but it was so salty he couldn't enjoy it. Luckily the owner was very nice and offered to make something else but we declined so he too it off the bill. The waitress on the other hand was often missing in action with her service.

The Bayou Stack is out of this world! Absolutely excellent food! Everything that we have order to eat here has been awesome! Great service and the food is amazing! It you haven't stopped by here you definitely need to. The flavor and preparation is superb. Bottom line is if you want a great meal, then this is the place to go!
Disappointed that 7 of us showed up on 1/5/22 around 4:30 pm and the place was locked up shut. Answering machine said open for business. No sign on door for reasoning.
Bistro Orleans is legitimately a little hidden gem of Metairie, Louisiana. The restaurant is located in a strip mall of sorts on a main road so it's easily accessible. When my son and I pulled up for a last minute lunch option today, We were not disappointed.The atmosphere is jazzy, upscale yet laid back if that can even make sense. They use higher quality supplies for guest's serve ware . They also offer a traditional Italian menu with a southern flair E.g. spaghetti and meat balls to fried crawfish tails. The service was beyond exceptional. They do not overly season their dishes , so you will need to add your own salts, peppers and hot sauces for spices but the food is decent, if I were a critic , I would not give them 5 stars on each item discussed above, however as an entire entity where one item lacks the other makes up for. It a great little establishment that adds flavor and authenticity to the local area. Great job guys!
