I can't believe how poorly my fiance and I were treated when we visited this location. We came to Popeye's for a quick dinner. To start it off, we couldn't order off the menu in the drive thru because there are no lights. The menu can't be read unless you shine a flashlight at it. To make matters worse, you can barely hear the staff through the speaker. What little you can hear has to be deciphered as the speech comes out as though their mic is cutting out. Ultimately, we decided to just go inside. At 30 minutes to close, the staff already had all the chairs put up and the disgusting floor mats were hanging from the divider rails that customers constantly put their hands on prior to receiving their meal. We stood in the lobby, waiting patiently to be assisted. One staff member walked past us, set a chair down, and proceeded to sit down and play on her phone. The manager was wiping the counter down. She looked at us twice, waited a full five minutes, then told us the lobby was closed. At this point, I was ready to give up and eat somewhere else. Unfortunately, Popeyes was the only place open within reasonable distance, short of McDonald's. We attempted the drive through again. Luckily, we had already decided what to order. As we waited in the drive through for our order to be taken, I can only imagine the staff was trying to wittle away the time until they could just tell me the drive through was closed as well. Finally, the staff took our order. I can honestly say that I have never had someone give me so much attitude through a microphone. To top it off, the only words spoken to me at the window was the exact price of my meal. Trying to be as nice as possible, I wished them a good night, to which the staff replied by looking away, holding a hand up at me, and shutting the window before walking away. I have never felt so disrespected by someone who doesn't even know my name. I was truly made to feel like less than dirt by 3 employees including a manager. I can only hope that someone steps in and gets rid of the whole crew.
Ask for basic things like condiments and didn’t receive it. But I get utensils in the bag like have something to eat with utensils
I went through the drive-thru me and my friend and a car full of barking dogs and for the first time ever got the nicest man that helped us interacted with the dogs took care of our food gave us extra bag sauce that I asked him for they was out of ketchup. He really went above and beyond and was actually friendly and I appreciated that and the food was good everything was nice and hot and fresh I enjoyed my visit to Popeyes this time I sure did
This is a one star cause you can't put zero. I ordered online to pick up. I was about 15 minutes late. That was my fault cause I didn't realize the app automatically sends to the closest Popeyes and I just wasn't paying attention. So I was late, but when I was finally approached at the counter that was the first time they'd heard of my order. They proceeded to put my order together with all the speed of a slow lorus. After about 25 minutes I was told they were out of coleslaw. By this point I'm petty frustrated and told them to just take it off my bill. I was then advised that they'd have to cancel the whole order to do that. As tempted as I was to scrap the whole thing, I was not spending that much time to come away empty handed. So I said just put whatever. Do what you have to get me on my way. They handed me my order just 35 short minutes after my pick up time. I asked if they remembered my sauces and was asked what they were. In my frustration I said, isn't it on my receipt right there. So the manager walked back and looked and put some sauces in the bag. When I got home and dropped the food off (since I now had no time to eat before leaving for work), I found they gave us a ton of different mustards but didn't bother with the blackened ranch or sweet chili. My favorites. At least my guests got to eat, but damn what a bad experience!
So so. There's a long wait in drive thru. They didn't have everything I ordered and that was disappointing, but what they did have was good.
Just left this place and while waiting for my food they came and asked what I was waiting for i am very mad have had bad experiences in the past not a good place always cold food. Placed order on app so I wouldn’t have to wait long and still waited over 20 minutes for my food. This is pathetic to be treated like this. I will not be going back to this place again!
I walked in 30 minutes before closing time and they claimed to have NO CHICKEN, while I stared at trays of chicken along with sides and everything needed to make a meal
I've never been able to order from this Popeye's. I've tried multiple times and if I'm not stuck in a line that hasn't moved a single car in 10-15 mins (and that's only what I waited around to count), they've also given the excuse that they "RAN OUT OF CHICKEN"!!! How does a chicken restaurant run out of chicken?!? This place is a complete waste of existence. It's right by my house and I go out of my way to go to ones 2-3 times as far and I still get home with my food faster than having gone to this one! Y'all are pathetic and that's why you'll only ever work in fast food.
The worst Popeyes restaurant is this one on westbank the costumer service is really bad and they never have what you want!!! They need to replace the entire staff or closer this location because is really bad
