Great seafood....use their seasoning the next time you boil...highly recommended
My very first and last time at Johnny's seafood my family of 10 didn't like the crawfish or shrimp ..money down the drain.And l told the cashier that it was a first time
They have sesame seed French bread in which I wasn’t used to for a po boy ? shrimp was kinda bland too
Visiting Nola. Stopped into Johnny's for lunch! Best price Crawfish and super fresh. 3.79 and lb is the same as all you can eat.
Now everyone tells me! This is NOT the place to get hot food from! Only go get for the boiled food and smothered potatoes. I opened my plate, (shrimp & fish combo), to find that the fish isn’t fish, it’s just pretty fried batter. Bit into it just to take a photo, they know this isn’t right. They only give you four pieces and it isn’t even the same size as a pencil. No meat involved PERIODT! Undoubtedly they’re dumb or lazy to think people eat LARGE lumps of butter between a hard azz roll. This is absurd! They are cheating customers with the fish and bite size shrimp. Either the reviewers are all their friends, or based in the boiled food and another potatoes. Either way, not anymore of my hard earned money. Quality goes a long way.
Really good food. I got a oyster plate and they were fried perfectly and a nice size. Yummy
Johnny's has amazing food. Last week my granddaughter and I sat in to eat our Boil Shrimp and Crawfish which was bursting with flavor. I really loved my shrimp they're the best on the Westbank in my opinion. Then this Saturday I went in the purchase Crawfish for my daughter to try,but they were sold out so I tried the Shrimp Pasta, Crab and Corn Soup and it too was delicious. So if you're in the Marrero area give them a try.
I didn't get to eat there because they ran out of bread for a poor boy. But all the food others had looked soo good. They were wolfing that food down.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
The only complaint I have for Johnny's is I've been waiting for crabs for a minute I just want to taste the crab
