Finally a cook worth kissing!!!!! When i tell you it was absolutely delicious. Ive been eating here for almost 20 years on and off and honestly it used to be hit or miss. So it really has been some years since we've gotten take out from here. This is my 3rd recent order and i have to give credit where its due. I would love to let the owner know that he's got great cooks! I mean people who took pride in their work and waitresses who double check your order and get it just right. And from the order ticket, to the kitchen and then the bag, it was truly delicious. Finally someone who can fry chicken better than me and better than my mama. Now thats a true compliment. My new favorite place. They followed my order to the letter!
For the area... AWESOME!!This is a locally known gem that eeryone goes to around here, but unless you been around, won't know.Dine in, take out.. they got you.I ate in, and had a half chicken fried spicy ..With fries and salad.THE FOOD: This chicken is awesome! .Crispy, crunchy outside, tender moist inside. The spice is great. Fries are crisp, too.
This is a hole in the wall placed I've never been but my boyfriend always buys it for us so this is my first time going. I walked in first but no one greeted but they had to ladies at the bar "busy" . instead the lady who walked right behind me was greeted before me. Overall the food was bomb an fresh the Mac is extra cheesey. I should of took a before picture but I give that chicken 10 stars.
We had a gumbo and a sandwich. The food was great. Fresh, delicious and good portions. The service on the other hand was quite lousy. There were only two more tables with guests, yet it took 40 minutes to get our order. They let us wait another 20 minutes just to process our check, while the waitress kept chatting with the other staff and even enjoying a popsicle..
Stopped in for a quick lunch break. The Fried Fish Poboy was outstanding and massive; saves the other half for latter. Quick in/out south LA food.
First time @ Frazier's Connection and it won't be my last. Jordan from U-Haul on Lapalco Blvd recommended this spot. My wife had the stuffed bellpepper and I had the Half Fried Chicken ?. DELICIOUS ?
I love ? Fraziers roast beef and onion rings, also the mac n cheese ? is the bomb. All their food is pretty amazing, the seafood ??? stuffed bell pepper , the fried chicken ? ?, breaded pork chops ?! My go to place for a grilled roast beef.
I ordered two sandwiches and onion rings for take out. $38 for two sandwiches and onion rings? I checked the food before leaving. One sandwich was right and the other was not. It was to be plain with cheese. They charged me for the cheese but it wasn’t on the sandwich. Finally I just asked for my money back and they wanted me to sign the credit card transaction then give me cash for the refund. Enough about this visit was wrong that I just wanted everything on the card so the credit card company could fix it if necessary. Their food is good. I was just irritated by everything being wrong so I went home and made a sandwich. Kind of defeats the purpose of going to a restaurant.
Quality of food from this place is nothing like it use to be. I ordered two shrimp po-boys and the shrimp smelled bad. The bread pudding looked and smelled old. Didn't make sense of call to return the food because they do not refunds. Says a lot about them right.
Small, local place with friendly service and decent food. The environment is a little drab, but I go for the food so it doesn't bother me really. The gumbo has a thinner broth, which isn't my preference, but was good as far as that style goes. The po boy was also pretty nice, and the proportions were in line with the prices.
