Love this restaurant! The food is very consistent and their team is incredibly friendly and accommodating. My fave dishes are the Journey to Alaska sashimi, Salmon Zest Roll and the Die For This Roll. My husband loves BBQ eel and his go to roll is Dancing With the Dragon. They have lots of seating and lots of servers - you should definitely check 'em out!

First time here. Everything was so fresh! Music at good level. Attentive staff behind sushi bar. Nice atmosphere. But food is the attraction here. We have some mediocre sushi bars on the northshore, but this isn't one of them.
As a family of Asian food lovers we've tried many a restaurant large and small all over the country. It was unanimously agreed that this little place is one of best any of us has ever been. From the authentic Ramen with its perfectly cooked egg and it's amazing broth that they cook overnight to the juiciest most perfect hibachi chicken to some of the most fun and artful sushi rolls any of us have had it was a hit all around. On top of the amazing food the service was a dream! I can't recommend this 'plate of happiness' enough. You won't regret it
ZEN Japanese Grill & Sushi Bistro is a nice little establishment in Mandeville, Louisiana. Their Food is fresh and they serve Hibachi. It's one of the only establishments opened late on Sundays as well until 10 pm, for parents or people too busy to order dinner until 8-9Pm where most restaurants are closed. Its located in shopping center so it is a little smaller but they keep plenty of staff on hand and serve time is 5 stars as well as their Hibachi Chicken.

The flavor of the food was good and the sashimi was a great size. As for the rolls we got… you couldn’t dip them in sauce before they crumbled everywhere… never had a roll fall apart like it did here.
Amazing flavor!!! Will def be stopping here when in town!
