The service was good but the food could have been SO much better. I got the Chicken Katsu, Cali roll, salmon skin salad and the combination plate with beef and sushi. The chicken was dry and thin more breading than chicken, the Cali roll was alright nothing to rave about, the salmon skin just looked disgusting so I didn’t even taste it and the combination beef was just sad. The fried/white rice portion is so small too ?
This is our family go to for sushi. Twin and her husband great us so kindly every time and remember what we like. If someone from my family is missing that visit, she asks about them. The food is always on par, fresh and yummy!
I ordered sushi and my wife had the teriyaki chicken with fried rice. Her chicken was so bad she couldn't eat it. She also had the egg drop soup and said it had no taste. Nothing tasted fresh. We're pretty sure it had been sitting out in the back since lunchtime. The sushi was a very small portion for the price. We won't be returning. We'll be sticking with Little Tokyo from now on.
Awesome hidden gem. Went with a friend for a light lunch. Our rolls were great and the recommended jalapeno popper sushi was awesome!!
Below average sushi-- old rice, thin meat, and too much cucumber. The dumplings were good. I was the only person in the entire place at 6pm. The service was amazing though, incredibly personable and charming.
Picked up a Sashimi mix and adding Salmon Roe, to go, on Sunday afternoon Feb 6, 2022. The salmon roe and also the whitefish were bad, as in not fresh, past date. The salmon roe was so bad, like a clump of hardened slime. There is no way the server who scooped the roe could not tell that it was bad!! I will be calling on Tuesday as they are closed today, Monday Feb 7, 2022. So disappointed!
We tried Twin Sushi for lunch. The restaurant is on the smaller side and had their tables nicely spaced. We ordered the seaweed salad and two rolls. The seaweed salad was crispy, very flavorful and enough for two people. Both rolls were absolutely delicious. There was plenty filling inside the roll and very fresh fish on the top. Each roll had a different sauce decorating the roll and plate. Two rolls were plenty for us at lunch. The wonderful lady that was there was a hoot. Very friendly and stayed and talked to us. We had a fantastic lunch and enjoyed the experience. We will definitely return.
Landed here unexpectedly and it turned out to be just awesome… server and owner were really helpful and as we are pretty new to Sushi they guided us really well… all the orders turned out to be super tasty and am going back for sure
Delicious food, pretty good prices, and awesome service. After only one visit, I already feel at home. Mrs. Twin is so personable, I wanna come in just to say hi. I’m coming back here every week!! 100% worth a visit.
