I started eating here in eighth grade when I was going to Saint Paul’s. Had the best graduation party. Now I’m 54 and coming to New Orleans every two months. I never miss eating here when I’m in town. Top-notch service and the food is always prepared properly and hot. I can’t think of a bad experience I’ve ever had here. If you haven’t tried Trey Yuen what are you waiting for?
This is my first but definitely not my last time coming to Trey Yuen. This place is absolutely wonderful.
This used to be the best around. Not so anymore. Just got home with green pepper steak. It was rancid. Two months ago I ordered my favorite, moo Sui pork. It was improperly prepared and was not good. What a shame.
Did the dinner for two and it doesn't come with much. Two small egg drop soup, two small eggroll and two entrees. The mandarin chicken was cold by the time it came out, wasn't crispy and dry. The shrimp and lobster sauce was great though. But for a 65 dollar check, I wouldn't come back.
We placed a PHONE ORDER during the LUNCH RUSH consisting of NINE different orders with @ least 2 of those orders customized. Our food was hot, fresh and not one order was made incorrectly. Great food. Great service. You gotta try it.
Our recent family dinner was well served, food was delicious and surrounding was quiet and great for visiting. Prices are comparable to the excellent menu. I can recommend the Duck dishes highly.
This is our family's favorite place to eat Chinese food. Love their eggrolls, special rice, and their Moo Shu Chicken is the bomb! Such a wonderful place. We used to frequent the one in Hammond. It's a shame that one is no longer open but we're so excited we can still enjoy the food here!
The special fried rice wasn't special in any way. Maybe at best 4 tiny shrimp, no evidence of chicken beef or pork. The lo mein was delicious and had plenty of everything in it. The szechuan beef was average. To top it off, they double charged my visa!
Simply the best and most authentic Chinese restaurant in the region! Have eaten at China Inn and Trey Yuen for more than 40 years. It’s always a treat! The staff and the owners are the best! If you want to eat at a great restaurant, you won’t be disappointed.
Tremendous chinese food. A little out of the way if you live outside of the area but well worth it. I got pepper steak and my wife got the spicy fire chicken. Both were delicious and the portions were huge. We also shared an appetizer sampler which wasn't my favorite but I am not a big appetizer guy. The decor of the restaurant is also beautiful. It is very elaborately decorated and designed. There is also a beautiful garden area outside where you can walk off some of your meal. The entire staff was very friendly, helpful and respectful. I'll definitely stop here anytime i am in the area
