This is a casual restaurant. Order at the counter and the server will bring food to your table. Great service from the minute I entered the door. Server was very friendly and recommended different sauces for my oyster po'boy. The po'boy with fried oyster was delicious. Fried perfectly, crunch on outside and not greasy at all. Oh, no line and no waiting for tables. Love that. It did start to get crowded as I was leaving though.

First: the staff is very friendly. They gave advice on what to eat, and helped me out with table service even though this isn't that kinda place. Total southern hospitality vibe. Being from California, the sweetness is abundant and I left with major tooth decay (insert sarcasm). I got Mahi Mahi tacos w fried green tomatoes. The tomatoes were perfect - thick cut, thin batter. The tacos would have been ideal however I'm not a fan of flour tortillas... it's a foreign concept to latinos lol. But otherwise, all delish. My family devoured the sweet treats I brought them. Personally I find pecan pie disgusting but we really all enjoyed the mini pecan pie! A first for me. I even had a great conversation with a local couple eating outside near me. Can't wait to come back and try something new next time!

Good food and a fun experience. The dining room is smaller than average if I had to guess, so get there early or sit outside if the weather is nice. There was no hostess or waiter. It's a seat yourself and order at the counter place. They brought our food out very quickly and it was excellent.

6/12/22 -- Had a half shrimp po-boy and bowl of seafood gumbo. It was very good. I highly recommend. Great atmosphere, a little crowded but that's because they are that good. Can't wait to come back and try something different.

This is one of our favorite choices for a good meal in a casual setting. Easy to get to in Mandeville, with convenient parking. Employees were all friendly and service was good. We sat outside and enjoyed an unexpected break in the heat. Good selection on the menu, and the burgers are great! Prices were as expected. Worth stopping at if you're in the area.

We decided to try this restaurant during a bike ride on the Tammany Trace. The food, service, and atmosphere were the best. The fish tacos were the best we have ever had , but very spicy. I would strongly recommend this casual restaurant.

This was our first time here. Very busy place but very efficient. It was kinda different to go up and order at the register 1st, be given a big number and cups and go find a place. We got the Pelican Burger. It was cooked just right, you put the condiments on it yourself at the table and dig in to it and the fries that come with it. I apologize for the picture, we were starving. The place has indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is very fast at picking up empty plates without rushing you and with the crowd Old Mandeville draws, there's plenty of great people watching that can go on (I know I'm weird lol). Highly recommended!

Nice place/atmosphere, good food, big portions. When busy limited seating. Bar top needs to be cleaned off and not storage. Fries are tiny, too easy to overcook. Forgot to take a pic but had the Southern Comfort burger. Would definitely recommend.

Atmosphere was great! Service was fast even though it was busy! Great Cajun food, spicy and flavorful!! Will definitely go again!

We went for dinner on the recommendation of our B&B host. We sat outside. Great casual dining. Lots of locals there, even on a week night We had the gumbo, a house salad and the Gulf shrimp basket. Quick service and delicious food.
