The food and service was certainly 5 star. One of the appetizer specials was swordfish ceviche and it was fantastic!
Dinner on 7-23-22. Fairly busy Saturday night. Several large, loud groups. Our server-Brionna-was very professional and personable. Our dinner choices included the lobster ravioli special and the tuna, along with the beef carpaccio and the gnocchi special. Most of the dishes were average at best and most were over salted. The tuna paired with coponata didn't work for me. This was another try by us to make this restaurant work, but it fell short of our expectations. Will resort to other choices in the area.
EXCELLENT!! The Manager Jonathon made you feel like you are special. He introduced himself to us. The staff were all first class. The food was very good. This will be in our weekly rotation for sure. If you are looking for extremely good food and first class service, go to Pardos.
EXCEPT.......what happened to the cheesecake with praline sauce and candied pecans?!!!!!!! I was all set to end a perfect meal and wonderful evening with my favorite dessert only to find it had been taken off the menu! WHY????? PLEASE, BRING IT BACK.
Called in late (6pm) on a Friday and spoke with Johnathon. Explained I was calling in at the last minute and reservation app only showed 7:45pm availability and asked if I could get in sooner. Jonathon said come on over and he would accommodate. Arrived 20 minutes later and had another spectacular meal at Pardo's. I enjoyed the Flounder and my wife had the seared tuna. The wedge salad was great as was the brussel sprouts that never disappoint. This restaurant is only 1/4 mile from my home and is always busy (indicative of a great restaurant). I have had many great meals here and anytime someone comes in from out of town I always take them here. They are always surprised 1) that it is so close and 2) that the dining experience is 5 star. Such a blessing to have this restaurant in Mandeville and near home. Thanks again Johnathon.
Absolutely amazing dishes with a beautiful ambience from the restaurant and employees. Checked on multiple times and taken care of very well. Highly recommend. Our server Brianna was so sweet!
I went here last night for my birthday and was so impressed with everything from the food to the ambiance and ESPECIALLY the service. Briana was outstanding and as sweet as her candied pecans! We need more people like her not only in the service industry but just in life in general!
Mrs. B was the PERFECT dose of southern hospitality! Everything was perfect, from the staff to the food, to the atmosphere and music! Our little one had the most WONDERFUL birthday dinner! Everything was delish. My scallops were so yummy. I also got to taste my friend's tuna; according to them, this was the first time they cooked this dish for guests. I also ordered a side of brussels sprouts. It was a huge portion! Very good. I had a taste of the cherry ice cream; like everything else, it was to die for. Tanner was our server.
The food and the service are always excellent. We always ask for our favorite waitress, Briana, when making our reservations. Pardos never disappoints. Oh, and the atmosphere is great. Let me not forget to mention their fabulous cocktails and bar tenders. Tyler selected a perfect bottle of wine for me. I told him what I liked and my budget and he came through.
