Excellent and quick service on top of delicious food! The alligator coins were amazing. Catfish platter was great too along with the boiled shrimp and crab.
Went to Mandeville LA by accident on our way home from vacation and decided to stop for lunch...so glad we did!. Shrimp PoBoy was excellent, Catfish was excellent, Chicken tender basket was excellent(good as a Grandmas fried chick). Restaurant was clean as a pin, service was excellent. Fresh market was neat as well. We bought gator jerky and voodoo spice for kicks. Would give 10 stars if able!
Boiled crabs were full of meat & tasty.Bread pulling with sauce was wonderful. I highly recommend.Young men that severed me were very polite & friendly. I always enjoy shopping were the employees are friendly.
Great local Seafood Market and Restaurant with a laid back family atmosphere. Food is great and they serve nice size portions.
I was told about the place by guide in the Old part of the city. She told me if I wanted a real Boil to go there and enjoy the best in Mandeville!
We decided to give this local seafood restaurant a try and I’m so glad we did! When you go in there is a small store where you can buy various Cajun dishes and meats, they also have their own seasonings and a few small knickknacks to take back with you. My husband and I ordered two bowls of the gumbo (no oysters just shrimp and crab) and it was rather delicious. We then shared the shrimp plate with fries while the kiddos had shrimp and chicken tenders. Everything was very scrumptious. The restrooms were very clean and they had fun decor all over to look at while waiting for your food. You order before you sit to get your drinks and such. The tables have cute little names for them instead of numbers. Handicap accessible parking and a ramp to get inside. I highly recommend checking it out if you are just passing or even a local! Thanks for the awesome, friendly service! Can’t wait to come back for one of those giant po’boys!!

Boiled crawfish were super dirty and fishy tasting. Do not recommend.
Busy place, ate lunch on a Friday, get there early! They have assigned seating now. Had fried catfish basket with potato salad...very good, large portions.
We had an excellent lunch here today! Super friendly and efficient. While waiting at the counter to order, an attendant Wicklow assign you a table with a posted name. We had the Monday red beans and rice with sausage and corn bread and fried thinly sliced catfish with fries. You fill your drinks at the drink station. Hubby enjoyed his Barqs beer! We knew we’d chosen well when we arrived shortly before 11:30 to find the parking lot filled with pick up trucks. While we didn’t have either, the po’boys and boiled crawfish at other tables looked great!
