My wife and I had lunch today and were blown away by the food and service. This was our first time here and the Chargrilled oysters were out of this world good!! Also the Wagyu Cheeseburger was very good and the meat was so tender and perfectly cooked the Management and staff were on top of everything and made it an amazing experience we are def going back soon!!
First time here GREAT FOOD,EXCELLENT FRIENDLY SERVICE my waiter Sam B Was FANTASTIC. General Manager Jessica Allo even came out and checked with me to make sure my meal was good and chatted with me for a few minutes… Who does that anymore? Great Band Playing on the Patio What a wonderful experience. I promise I’ll be back soon?

1-starDon't waste your time going there. We went in thinking it was a Mexican restaurant with the name Felix and discovered it was a seafood restaurant. No ambience whatsoever. A very overpriced menu with tasteless food. We were shocked when we ordered the fish and shrimp plate and the fish was served at the table in finger size fried strips of fish that look like a kid's plate with about six shrimp for over $20. The little crab cakes were $15 and tasted like nothing. They only had one waiter on duty and we waited an extraordinary amount of time while the cook unloaded a truck in the back before we received our meals. This was a huge disappointment and waste of money.Food portion - very small.Food value - poorFood taste - blandWe will not return.

Felix's was one of THE BEST Seafood Restaurants we've found on the Northshore to date!! We had no reservations on Mother's Day, but they were able to get a party of 4 in right away!! We had THE MOST delightful waitress!! I wished I had asked her name. She was a young red haired young lady with a GREAT personality plus!!! She had a GREAT since of humor with my husband and "no lemon" in his tea!!??We ALL loved her to death!! The food was ALL cooked to perfection!! We had appetizers too! It was a GREAT time!!!My NEWEST go to specifically for seafood cooked to perfection!! And I will always ask If we can be placed in our sweet red heads section!!? Such a doll...Oh, she arranged a Poboy to go too! Great timing!!
This is the third time we have eaten here and enjoyed the food and service two times prior to this visit. This time the food was off, but more importantly the waiter SAM was horrible. He rushed us with our order ( it was 3:45) not busy at all. When the food was brought to our table, I had my napkin and utensils on the table and he tells me to move my rag! I guess he was trying to be funny, but he should leave the jokes to the comedians. The shrimp etoufee that my husband ordered had NO shrimp in it and it was room temperature. I took shrimp off of my tacos so he could have shrimp with his etoufee. My sweet potato fries (which are usually the best in town) tasted like they were fried in old grease When Sam deluvered the bill he just tossed the black folder on the table without a word and walked away. He's lucky he got a tip at all!!! The floors were also dirty and sticky.... not impressed at all after this visit. We will not be back. There are too many restaurants in this area. We do not need to spend our money there to be treated this way.
I went to Felix's Restaurant, and I had the grilled oysters and there stuffed Redfish Anita was Amazing! And the waitress was Excellent! I haven't had a dish like the Redfish in years! And it was everything you could ask for! And the grilled oysters were top notch! I Loved everything about my experience! I will definitely go there again! I just hope they keep this on the menu because I definitely want More! All I can say is they have a great Chef...treat him good!
I went to lunch with neighbors and ordered the fish tacos, mahi-mahi. The fish was so salty as to be inedible. The server offered a redo and instead I chose a cup of crawfish etouffe. The worst I ever had. The consistency was thick and flour tasting and only saw one crawfish tail. I was not tempted to eat that either. The grilled oysters my companions had were average and and a shrimp poboy they shared was also over salted. It is a shame with the Felix reputation that the quality of the food has sunk this low. We won’t go back.
First time visiting today and it couldn't have been any better ! First class server, food delivered hot, and we didn't have to ask for anything. It's almost like the server was reading our minds. We'll be back !
