Was just turned away for service 15 mins before closing time. We stood outside chatting about where to go next and watched them seat the couple that came in 5 mins after they turned us away. I’ll never eat or recommend this place to anyone. My dads a regular! Just WOW!!!
I always have the 16oz ribeye. I cannot speak for the other food on the menu. Although, my family has had other selections and they are always satisfied with it. We had the crab cakes as an appetizer this time. Those were great! On the other hand, my steak is always cooked to perfection. Prices are going up. Including the price of steak. I would have to say, I have purchased my own ribeyes recently and the cost of my plate seemed reasonable at the time. The only issue that I have is the fact that they dim the lights down so low sometimes. It almost is uncomfortably dark. I understand the ambience and the setting that they are trying to achieve, but a little much. Other than that, service was good and the food was good.
We went for dinner. Small portions and not good sauce at all. Sucked. Never again... Two really old old pet own it. They have to be in their 80's... Too outdated. Dirty..
The tables are a little squished together in there, but the service and food make up for that. The service / servers were on top of everything, food was sent out quickly, nice atmosphere, and food was fabulous. Had the Jimbob shrimp, spinach and artichoke dip, and chocolate cake. The shrimp and dip was excellent. The cake was good, but not out of this world. Would definitely recomend. Going to try their chicken parmison next time, it looked fantastic!
THE WORST service I have ever received. It took 1 hour and 36 minutes to get our food!!!! CRAZY! They kept telling us it would be just a little bit longer, so we stayed. Only to wait longer and longer. The poor server had to keep going to her manager to get the status on our food, and he never came in to apologize or address the issues. And we paid full price… nothing free or anything to comp for the experience. Clearly no sympathy from the staff. The food was not with the wait. I have never seen anything like this in my life. We will never be back.
Just off 190 in Mandeville, a cozy Italian Restaurant with Authentic Italian food. It has a small but nice bar area and a wonderful outdoor area when weather allows. Atmosphere is comfortable and upscale at the same time and the food is excellent. Portions are large, so keep that in mind and the choices are many. Desserts are homemade as are most of the Italian dishes. It is a great lunch spot for business and girlfriends alike and a nice happy hour spot for the same. Dinner is welcoming for couples date night as well as families. It is an all around good choice for most any occasion.
Love the Jimbob Shrimp pasta but I just got it for my 3rd time. And when I got home it literally had like 3 bites of noodles is all they gave me. They are shortening on noodles it's noodles how much does that really cost you? Not worth $30 bucks.
It was crowded at lunch and they were short staffed. Yet, the service and food were great! Veal Royale & Marsala were very good! Tender, crisply fried. Tiramisu although not made with coffee liqueur, was really delicious and not too sweet! Really enjoyed the experience!
This restaurant is a family favorite. We use their catering a lot, to celebrate anything from birthdays to family sit down meals and everything in between. The owners are always there to greet you with a welcoming, warm smile and our waiter couldn't have been more attentive, informative and polite. You will be hard pressed to find someplace with the superb food, lovely dining room and welcoming staff. Added bonus: a bar right next to the dining room and just as charming.
This was my first time coming here, and I was very excited to come for dinner (10/19/21). I am a server in fine dining. My boyfriend is a bartender in fine dining as well, so we know what is expected of a server especially in a dining setting like Fazzios. My server was Teri P, and unfortunately was the reason I did not have a good experience. The calamari was great, and the chicken parmesan was also very good. I immediately felt like my server Teri was judging us for being a young couple (worried abt tip). My boyfriend has a nut allergy and when asking about ingredients she was very rude. Teri did not seem as invested in our dining experience, as compared to the other tables she had. They were out of Tiramisu for desert, so we decided to try the bread pudding instead. We tried 2 bites and did not really care for it. When I asked if it could be taken off or exchanged for something else Teri responded with “ We don't operate that way.” Being a server myself, I want to accommodate my guest so they have a pleasant experience and want to return, even if something isn't their preference or to their liking. Teri sent over (the manager) which seemed like another server, which if it was the manager she was also rude and a bad representation for the restaurant. The food was delicious (aside from the bread pudding). Solely based off of the terrible service I will not be returning. I am extremely dissatisfied, because we spent $90 on this dinner. If my service would have been up to the fine dining standards presented this would have been a $20-$30+ tip for Teri. Your employees should be focused on the dining experience for your guest, but instead Teri was focused on what might’ve been a small tip from a young couple. This is a prime example as to why I no longer enjoy dining out, being a server myself. Service is the most important aspect of a restaurant. Fassios clearly does not have service and guest experience as a priority, this was proven to me by “the manager” that came to my table. I am very sadly disappointed by Fassios.
