Really enjoyed our visit! Table of four for breakfast after church service. The restaurant was full and service wasn't bad considering how many people were there. We all had omelettes and everyone enjoyed their meal. Prices weren't bad or unreasonable. Breakfast is served all day and I was able to add an addition to my omelette. Will return!
Food was excellent but the service wasn’t. I was told to pick a seat. So my wife and I sat at a small table . Waiting for someone to take drink order no one came then 2 more couples came in got their drink orders I finally ask a lady excuse me when been here 15 minutes and two more couples came in and got serviced . She said sorry I’ll get your waitress she came finally we ordered coffee and our food to try and get our food quickly . So we did beat the other two on ordering our food and some how they still got their food before us. Wasn’t to happy with that but the food was great ! ThTs where my 3 stars come from.
Went in on Sunday April 3rd at 10:30 had a wait which we expected. After a brief wait we got a table and we’re served drinks quickly. Then after an hour our order still wasn’t being prepared in the kitchen… I understand how short staffed people are right now but people at the bar were getting there food faster than big parties in the dining room. A table next to us waited an hour and got ice cold food. They were frustrated and walked out. The wait staff looked totally defeated I felt very sorry for them. I work in the restaurant industry and we deal with being short but management will step in that kitchen fast to help. This establishment looks like it lacks a true leader. Very sad considering I have eaten at the Covington location and the food is great. Probably won’t return after due to seeing low morale and no organization.
Best breakfasts in the Covington.. mandeville...abita springs area. 3 locations and they are adding a fourth in mandeville soon. Highly recommend their belgian waffles and their shrimp and grits . Yum
Was seated for over 5 mins no waitress came over to the table. When she did andtook our drink order 6 mins passed with no drinks. We had to ask the black guy cleaning the tables for assistance. When the waitress came over she didn't even notice we had drinks and ask of we would like to order. We did order but another 15 mins passed before we got our order. We went back a week later and tried to dismiss the last visit bit again we sat down at a table and noticed 3 waitresses just look at us and didn't come over. Another couple (Caucasian) came in and they were quickly helped while no one came over for another 5 mins. I guess they don't like BLACK customers. We'll NEVER EVER GO BACK. A d we have already spread the word to our friends how we were treated.
Terrible service, 4 tables came in after us and got served way before us. Waitress didn't offer refills while waiting. Over priced. Food was soso nothing special. Will not go back nor recommend.
Well done! Tasty etouffee, crisp salad, delicious grilled biscuit and nice servers. Unassuming, but clean restaurant. Great formula, thank you!

Our visit was subpar. And almost disastrous. The place was a total mess. Several tables were left with plates and food and napkins. I understand business but it almost felt like laziness. Our food arrived cold. We had no utensils and had to repeatedly ask for some until we were given some. Our waitress didn’t check up on us and we had to go to the front to even pay. One waitress broke a syrup bottle and left broken glass on the floor unattended. With how messy the place was I was surprised to see that eventually someone came and cleaned it up. The experience could have been improved if the staff took more pride to small details customer attendance.
