Service sweet...she was out of a few things like chicken but it happens i guess. But Lil spark and spice different than yr average restaurant and well enjoyed. 5 outta the 6 of us at the table loved the homemade chips for nachos they were tortilla but flour and taste was fluffy and softer than a regular chip of course the only one at the table who didnt like ordered the nachos and is a very picky eater. Been wanting to try this place and would again. Next time I will buy ahead at Local flavor or Groupon and get more for my buck!
This place serves excellently fried green tomatoes ( we drive from Slidell to get them). The food is season well. I am allergic to seafood. They do prepare my chips and chicken separately. Hours of operation closed on Monday, Tuesday -Sunday 11-4.
The atmosphere is relaxed and fun. They have a variety of options on the menu. I had the Tomateaux burger and a side of ma's chicken salad. It's all delicious! The maque choux came in the appetizer we chose, and was great too. The woman at the counter was super sweet and checked on us throughout our dining experience. The food came out pretty quick, and we were satisfied with the taste, quantity, and quality for the value. THANK YOU, CREOLE TOMATEAUX!
Amazing place!!! We were driving through Mandeville, LA, looking for a local place to eat and stumbled upon Creole Tomateax. Lucky us! The food was fantastic, and I can't say enough good things about the staff! Helpful, funny, just wonderful. If you're looking for a place with local flavor and community connection, Stop Here!! You won't find any better!
What's not to love??!! THE FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
I really love this place. I love that we were met at the front door and asked if we had been there before and it was explained to us that we could sit anywhere and go to counter when we were ready to order. In other words, no one will be coming to the table to wait on you. Food was fabulous. We had fried green tomatoes, Shrimp PoBoy and Fried Green Tomatoe BLT. Great soda fountain!
Enjoyed a nice cruise along the lakefront and then stopped for lunch here.... It was good! But we definitely needed a quick picture with our VW bus & the Creole Tomateaux ??
Omg food was absolutely amazing. The Shrimp tacos are my new favorite food. Everything me and my husband ate was delicious and we had plenty to take home. Will be eating here often from now on.
The food was amazing! Absolutely worth the drive from Mississippi. The staff was super friendly! 10/10 would recommend!!!
The food here was absolutely amazing. Never have I had roast beef so good. The food was fresh. The server and the cooks were nice enough to make us coffee even though they don't normally offer it. The decor and ambiance is rustic and quaint. I had low expectations and was very pleasantly surprised.
