At first, I loved this restaurant! I visited it at least twice per week, but as of late, the quality of their food when ordered for take out has been very disappointing, to say the least! $60 worth of food and not even half is edible when arriving home, just 2-3 minutes away from the restaurant, literally! I order nachos, which is mush by the time I arrive home. This restaurant is definitely hit and miss, but IF their standards rise to the level they were when this place originally opened, then I’d recommend it to everyone. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but after the 6-7 time of the same routine with this restaurant, I felt like I needed to put my two sense in!
The Carne Asada and drinks were amazing!!!!
Street tacos ? Sevices was great no complaints
First visit, crowded and very busy. No wait, got a hightop near bar, quickly got chip & salsa. It was $2 Taco night! Ordered a few, they were great.
Fast service. No mistakes on any orders. Had a frozen margarita. It was a big one and very cold. Food was very good. Atmosphere was nice. Parking was available right at front door for disabled. Had leftovers we brought home.
Excellent service, good food ! Daily happy hour
It is so amazing to find old style Mexican food in the South! The mango margaritas here are strong but taste so amazing you won't notice the alcohol sneak up on you! However, the food you can see coming. And the street style tacos are my favorite, though I am not sure which is my #1, the barbacoa, or one of the other flavors. You can choose three, but I like the next flavor as much as the first one. So much food, so little time!
First time coming here after seeing it every day on the way to work. Food came out pretty quickly. Everything was awesome! Kids' meals are a decent portion, not your average chintzy kids meal. The bean dip that came out with the chips and salsa was a nice surprise, yum! We will definitely be going back!
I love this place! Food and service are always excellent! I was a long time fan of another local Mexican restaurant but Chuys is closer to me and is consistently great! Margaritas and queso are excellent! We are partial to the Chuy burrito asada and the Pollo Santiago but honestly you cannot go wrong. There are alot of great restaurants here but I encourage you to give Chuys a try. We went today...first place we've gone post hurricane Ida. Fully open and everything excellent as usual!
I had the Street Taco plate....with shrimp. Oh my good gravy! The best yet! The waitress was incredibly sweet, attentive and when I asked for her recommendation she was spot on! Definitely will return!
