Today was our second visit to Tad’s. My husband had fried catfish with ettoufee on top. He said the fish was muddy tasting and the ettoufee was just ok. I had a fried chicken sandwich. The chicken was not seasoned and the bun was dry and crumbly. Fortunately I had asked for buffalo sauce on the side and it added some flavor. My husband poured buffalo sauce on his food and he said it helped. Service was slow and it was around 2:00 on a Friday. We really wanted to like it. Honestly I think it’s just bar food. They have a large bar and I’m sure they have large crowds at night.
TaD's was a good place to eat; they have a vast menu, so there's something for everyone. Plenty of parking. The Crab Bisque was delicious. If you enjoy HOT wings, they are here!
Flavorful food at good prices! Big portions as well! Buffalo chicken sandwich and the Tad burger!The Buffalo chicken sandwich came with a large deep fried chicken breast covered in a Buffalo sauce that was not overwhelming as some sauces can be. This went well with the ranch dipping sauce. The lettuce and tomatoes provided a freshness as the ensemble sat on an American bun.The Tad Burger did not disappoint in any manner. Being the house burger it did its job well! The jalepeno Sourdough bun and fried egg took the burger to another level of flavor.The iced tea had a rich flavor and the sweet potato fries were lightly salted to match the sweetness of the side."An Amateur Food Critic"
Great place. Nice atmosphere small and comfortable. Good food, the crawfish caso was awesome, (adult)drinks were yummy would recommend the strawberry lemonade and the witchy woman. It was also by far the best service i have had at any restaurant, our waitress Shawna, took great care of us, she was very sweet and professional, made sure we were satisfied and answered any questions we had about the menu. Would definitely recommend. (Kid friendly)
Our waitress Raven was awesome. She taught us Buckeyes how to eat crawfish. Alligator bites, crawfish, gumbo and jambalaya was individually served with a gracious amount and all was delicious
I’m sooooooo much of a cheese fanatic it’s insane… went to eat with a Loved one and ran across this cheesy crawfish pasta suggested by my waitress which was a WIN/ WIN for me!!! Not only was the food extraordinary but the service was far better. Not to mention very impressive… Leo was very much on her game, and to see that she is expecting she moved around that restaurant gracefully as if she was at home making sure everyone was comfortable. TAD’S IS NOW HANDS DOWN MY FAVORITE PLACE TO GO EAT, WATCH THE GAME, & RELAX AFTER A TRYING DAY!!!
By far one of the best restaurants in town with the most friendliest, professional, and all around loveliest staff! Leo has been the best server that TaD's has had. Always wearing a smile on her face and treating each customer as an individual, she knows how to get the job done the right way. Leo even suggested the Catfish to my mother and I and BOY does she have great taste! We always rave about the Catfish and how it is so delicious! Thanks Leo<3
Tad’s has such wonderful service. Raven was a superb waitress. We had a table of 20 people and she was able to separate our tabs and service each of us as if we were at separate tables. She gave attention to our requests with such patience and a pleasant attitude. I appreciated her service.
Everything was great, from walking up and meeting happy friendly patrons who were carrying to go boxes, the super great Raven our server, to the food, fast fresh, hot and delicious! Cooked to perfection, tender shrimp, seasoned and battered great, fried oysters the batter was light and oysters just the right size, I couldn't eat em all and I love oysters. Highly recommend.
Went in yesterday around 6:30 we waited about 30 minutes to get a table set up( it was 12 of us, 4 adults 8 kids). Chandler our waiter had to work a 12 top by himself , we didn’t leave till 9 that’s how long it took for us to get food and drinks. He was extremely nice but we could tell he was struggling. Would have been nice to see him get any type of help. The food is nice, but bland.
