This place has gone through many changes. This most recent one tho, is probably the worst I’ve seen. I like that you can electronically order, but the new layout is just cold to me. It isn’t as inviting like it used to be. There aren’t anymore yummy baked goods out, just nutrigrain bars and a banana. This place feels more like a coffee shop chain and not a locally loved staple. My breakfast sandwich was just okay, and my snickerdoodle coffee was as good as it’s always been.
Nice little shop. Happy to support you. Coffee was not stellar as it was more bitter than expected. Egg stack with spinach and avacado was yummy. Nice atmosphere. Bathrooms sorely need more light!
A little hit and miss but way more hits than misses. Best coffee in Lake Charles. Seems they have added food and the food seems way above average for a roastery coffee shop. Cool place.
Great local coffee shop with laid back relaxing atmosphere. Has a comfy sofa or table and chairs. I had a small espresso and the titan sandwich which made a great early lunch option. Would definitely recommend!
Awesome little place to stop by and grab a drink from. I’ve been here a few times and they’re always exceptional.

We stopped in for a coffee before setting off on the Creole Nature Trail. The King Cake latte (I think it was called) was delicious sweetness and adorably decorated with sprinkles. The strawberry and cream frappe was a delicious sweet treat, also.
Had their king cake/Mardi Gras special and it was so good! It wasn't crazy sweet which I definitely appreciated. Upon lifting the lid, I saw they decorated the top with festive colored sugar which added a nice finishing touch. The latte was also made to a drinkable temperature right away which I haven't encountered prior so I was definitely happy about being able to sip my coffee without waiting for it to cool down.
Do yourself a favor and pull in. Amazing coffee. Great breakfast sandwiches. Awesome beignets. They roast their own coffee too!
