Oh my this place is like eating a grandma's or mom's. If you want fresh home cooking look no further this will be my new Saturday lunch spot.

OMG...chicken fried steak was sooooo good. I cut it with my plastic knife. It melted in my mouth. Mashed potatoes,corn,green beans and a piece of cake. I will eat the other half for Dinner. If you want a great meal for little money this is your place to go.The cake was 5 fork fulls and really awesome. Tip your staff good,they deserve it. Enjoy
Southern Spice hits a grand slam with their Southern Hospitality! From the greetings you receive as you enter to the wait staff hustling the whole time! Such a delight getting true customer satisfaction with a meal as close to home cooking as possible, which is SO rare these days! They have daily specials that include one of their dessert options that may be Chocolate Cake, Lemon Cake, Bread Pudding, or something that'll surely satisfy your sweet tooth after a large serving. The specials are totally awesome as well as their Chicken and Sausage gumbo. And when you order a cup, be prepared for something larger than what the other places serve with very nice size chunks of chicken and sausage! Also LOVED they are not shy of having wait staff of all ages! One is the sweetest lady who comes by to make sure you are getting everything you need to help out since it does get busy, so ALWAYS go early or you may have a slight wait but they get food served quick and turn tables quick, without feeling rushed 1 bit! Love this place and highly recommend eating here to try a few of their specials each week!

I went here this morning for breakfast good coffee beautiful waitresses beautiful establishment! I did not get to eat here because I want to $21 for steak and eggs I’m not paying that! I don’t even care of your Ruth Chris steak House :-) nevertheless I had a great cup of coffee I also bought three bottles of their spices that they use that is homemade it is awesome!!!I’m gonna send it to North Carolina, Georgia and Florida my family‘s gonna love it I would recommend the place 100%. My sweet auntie Diana took me out to eat for my birthday was last monthtoday she is to Southern Spicy ??????These young lady know how to cook ,I should say the cooked in the kitchenEverything was delicious ???????????????????We enjoyed ourselves together on the lord day amen. Best breakfast in town, hands down. Great coffee, perfect to order eggs, cottage fries, sausage-- excellent beignets, even fruit cups are fresh and tasty. Can be crowded, though, and sometimes the tv is way too loud to converse with other friends at other tables.
Waitress was organized with all her tables and was sweet. Enjoyable place to eat and visit with awesome homemade food
