The Popeyes off of Gerstner Memorial is by far, in my opinion, the best fried chicken in Lake Charles. Only because Ball's Fried Chicken on Enterprise Blvd is not up and going since being damaged during the hurricanes.
I asked for three blackened tenders. My order was repeated. Upon driving off and starting to eat I found three mild crispy tenders. They weren't fresh or seasoned.
