My husband has the pulled pork nachos, he loved them. I had the ribs, they were pretty dry and they didn’t give me enough extra sauce to make up for that but I didn’t know to ask for more till I got home. They also charged me for the bread pudding but I realized when I got home that they forgot to give it to me. So overall kind of upsetting, probably won’t return
Brisket and Jalapeno sausage was very good. We ate at 3 pm Saturday the side looked like they were left over from the day before.
This place is worth the drive. When we travel from B’Ham to Houston we always stop and are always satisfied with a great meal.I like the option of getting a few smaller selections of different meats.
Best BBQ in Lake Charles! The half chicken and brisket taste so good! The pulled pork nachos are amazing as well. It's a very nice restaurant that is very clean and tidy. We love playing music and eating there!
I it half chicken and it was totally raw. I could see the blood and the meat was pink and gummy.I had to throw it away not to get sickDisgusting.
Was traveling through and ordered ahead of time. Got the brisket and turkey. When I arrived, the food was ready and I noticed a patio out back. Having a dog, I asked I'd he could sit out with me and they allowed it ?. The food was good, the atmosphere was great and inside it was clean. This is almost a middle ground form my home to my daughter's, so I will most definitely stop again
Last week I passed through and stopped at Paul's Rib Shack Barbecue the Brisket, Pulled Pork and Turkey were all really good. The smoked beans were ok and so was the red beans and rice. The coleslaw wouldbe third out of the 3 sides we had. I will definitely be going back when I pass back through Lake Charles.
Food was good, service was ok.Blackberry bread pudding was outstanding, bbq sauce was amazing, brisket was moist and well made as were the sides - slaw and smoked Mac & cheese. Ribs were good but slightly dry.Overall a good experience…the bread pudding is definitely a must try.
Best brisket you could ask for! A brisket baked potato is my go to and is a steal of a deal! Bread pudding is also the best, and considering buying pans for my wedding!
Always amazing! I love their brisket, ribs, friday's rueben special, saturday's ribeye specials, but most importantly...THE BLACKBERRY RUM SAUCE BREAD PUDDING. If you haven't tried all of those things, please go check them out.
