We stopped through LC and happily stumbled upon this place for their Sunday jazz brunch and OMG. I’m sure that I had the best most fresh crab cake of my life. I ordered Eggs Ponchtrain and it was AMAZING. It was extremely flavorful and prepared perfectly. My spouse ordered the French toast and even that was extraordinary. They also offer a great deal for mimosas. Highly recommend dining here.

Excellent food, the portion sizes aren't too big, the restaurant itself has a cool vibe and decor! I just wished that the jazz started when they opened at 10, cause we missed it, we had eaten and were gone before it even started. And it would've been nice if our server had taken our order a bit quicker because we were waiting for quite a while.
I was in town for a wedding (as a guest finally) and the wedding party had their rehearsal dinner and I found Luna Bar and Grill. I’ve worked in fine dining and my wife and I love trying new restaurants. I was solo on this trip and took in what I call the full dining experience. I sat at the bar and enjoyed wine an appetizer, a salad, my entree and more wine. I can’t remember if I left room for dessert, but what I know is that I’ll never forget how wonderful the food was, the service, the people and the atmosphere of being downtown and how great my experience was dining at Luna Bar and Grill. Can’t wait to return!
The restaurant is located next to other businesses in downtown. There is a nearby parking lot (which was full at dinner time) and street parking. The hostesses greeted us and got us seated very quickly at a booth. It was a little on the noisy side, but possible to have a conversation. There were a few large groups, including one celebrating a birthday. Seemed like a good space for large groups. Our server took our drink order fairly quickly, but walked off without asking us if we'd like any appetizers to start. When he came back, he took our food order which included an appetizer and our mains. Our mains came out before the appetizer. The tuna and mashed potatoes were both pretty good. Overall, it was a good experience. Second visit, got the Redfish Ian (grilled). It was absolutely delicious! Everything on the plate was cooked perfectly. I highly recommend it.
My fiancé and I visited here for lunch. I wished I’d gotten our waiters name because he was phenomenal. Very knowledgeable and attentive with a good attitude. I cannot speak to the entire menu however we ordered a crab dip appetizer and each had a variation of a turkey sandwich with fries. Everything was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked and came in a timely manner. Place has an overall good atmosphere and was clean. Very reasonably priced as well. One of the better lunch options in town.
Sunday brunch eggs Pontchartrain is excellent. The Bloody Mary alone is 6 stars by itself. Friendly staff kept things running smooth and we were treated to live music as well.
OMG, we loved this place! Much better than any chain restaurant..the server was spot on with menu recommendations and her service was terrific! Would definitely recommend and go back next time we are in town!
The staff was friendly, drinks were good, and the food was phenomenal!
Not bad food. Pretty good service, but waitress kept forgetting what we asked for and then over apologizing. Atmosphere was very nice.
