I cannot review the food because we never got to order anything. We were seated quickly, given menu’s & chips & salsa. We sat there for close to 20 minutes and no one came to get our drink order or food order.
It was busy for a Sunday lunch, and they were hopping fast! I got the veggie fajitas and they were delicious!
Watch your receipts here. Advertised drinks have variable price and different specials depending on which bartender you speak to. Tried multiple times and bad results each time. Best to ask for it itemized or avoid all together
My mom and stopped in for a late lunch. Mom had the brisket quesadilla and I had the brisket taco lunch. It was delicious! This was the most tender and flavorful brisket I have ever had. Hector was such an attentive waiter! May have to make a trip back to Lake Charles!
Wait staff was very friendly and attentive. I asked for their best margarita and we got the 24K w Patron. Quite good. Nice view of the lake and upper and lower deck seating coming soon. We had queso, tostados, enchiladas and tamales and all were great. It was definitely better than nearby cajun food in the area.
It's like Mexican food made by people who have never had Mexican food. It was so bland even hot Sause didn't help. The rita was just lemonade with a tiny bit of cheap tequila for flavor. And even though we were only one of 4 tables, at 530pm on a Monday during a rainstorm, , we were pushed to leave and ended up not getting dessert. I was planning on ordering flan. For my birthday. But the waitress was way more concerned with getting the check signed.
best experience our sever was hector and he was just amazing he learned our names and used them talked to our baby didnt feel rushed or anything we will be back just for him ..food was great too!!
The food is just not good. To each their own, but there are so many other TexMex options in LC that I’d rather go to. We may have ordered during an off-day, but, besides the food, the service wasn’t great either. I’m sure we’ll give this place another shot, but not any time soon.
Service was excellent!!! Margaritas were ok, street tacos were very good! I really liked this place! Just passing through town but would definitely recommend!
Best Tex-Mexican restaurant in lake Charles, La. I love this location and the beautiful view of the sun set on the lake, I-10 bridge, boardwalk, and Yacht Club. It has indoor and outdoor pet friendly patio. The old bartender is my go-to server. He makes the best top shelf margaritas. If you are looking for the best White Queso and Guacamole her is your place. My husband always orders the steak quesadillas and carne asada steak dinner. I prefer the large fresh grilled shrimp taco salad. Keep up the great work!
