My favorite donut shop in Lake Charles, LA and just a short trip from Interstate 10, for travelers passing through and need a quick bite!The staff is extremely friendly and it feels more like a little local cafe with loyal customers I see all the time! It's cozy and has a 1950s American diner look, too that is super cute.The menu is wonderfully diverse; from beignets, doughnuts (they even have a maple bacon doughnut on occasion, a local favorite) to coffee, frappes, smoothies (ube taro is a must-try, an Asian purple sweet potato is SO YUMMY!) and lots of healthy drinks.Say hi to the staff; they are always happy and incredibly hard-working! ?HIGHLY recommend! Go get happy :)
Primo donuts and kolaches, never a long wait and reasonably priced. Now they have Nos energy drink.
If you haven't treated yourself to a boudin kolache....you must do so immediately!!! The service here is impeccable. My husband and I go in here all the time. And dare I say.......they are just a scoach above Nelsons

Happy Donuts is a wonderful place they've always taking care of me even giving me free different select stuff to try I just can't afford it or I would do everyday I only eat one meal a day
Great place to get donut breakfast items. Not as good as Nelson's Donuts but next best compared to others.

My favorite little shop in Lake Charles. Ran by a sweet little family, they are always very warm and nice. The owners always take time to talk with me and several of the customers as they prepare your order. The doughnuts are great. People on my job site will bring doughnuts from various other shops, but every time I bring Happy Donuts down I get the same response "these are the best glazed donuts".
Blown away from the taste on their breakfast food & food. Love the caramel frappe. Amazing customer service friendly as always and very quick
