Big dinner party full of “slightly” inebriated patrons is not the easiest thing to handle. Ember and our waiter Simon was given this task and both came through clutch in this big moment. Simon was knowledgeable about the menu and allowed us to have a great time as a friend group. The Prince Edward oysters were a highlight off the menu, take it easy on the lemon just a warning. Would come back and watch the Dallas Stars here any night
The restaurant hostess did not want to honor our reservation because I made it with Open Table. She said they had no record of it and that they do not use Open Table anymore. She was not pleasant about it, but finally agreed to seat us anyway. By the way, it was a Sunday evening and they were not busy. Our waiter Simon was good and the food was good. Just hard to overcome such a rude greeting.
my wife and I had reservations at Embers for our anniversary dinner on 5/21/22 we were seated soon as we arrived , and Donny our waiter was there almost immediately to give us water and menus. All I can say about the service and food is OUTSTANDING! Donny is fantastic , always on the spot but doesn't rush your dinner, always friendly and attentive. The Assistant General Manager Emily stopped by our table twice to check on us and see if we needed anything, of course we didn't as we were well taken care of. The food was Fantastic ! Best I've had in Lake Charles. Highly recommend for your special evening. The atmosphere feels like a high end restaurant in Houston or Dallas.
Great atmosphere and even better food. The cocktails are second to none. And they even brought out some ice cream for my birthday.
Best steakhouse in Lake Charles with outstanding service and great atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

Definitely our favorite place to celebrate anything or just have date night. The place is quiet and ambiance is great! Kelly is the best bartender and can whip up anything. Donny is our guy for best service. He goes above and beyond. Food is always great.
You walk in to this warm cozy fire place that makes it feel like a Colorado lodge. If you sit at the bar and enjoy hand crafted cocktails then this is the place for you! The old fashioned is very old Fashioned, the bartender Kelly made sure to keep it simple but delicious. The ribeye was just pure happiness with a side of the fluffiest cloud like mashed potatoes.
Table for 6, 4 of the steaks were cooked improperly. Sides were cold. Drink service was slow. Waiter had other tables items on our tab. Waiter also seemed to not care about the unsatisfactory dark red/purple bleeding steak center that he said was medium. Pretty sad to leave about 50% of our meat on the plate after the meal. One positive, the duck crepes were on point. Overall, we will not be returning.
