Best Mexican food in Lake Charles and the prices are much cheaper than others especially considering how much food they give you. The staff is very nice and helpful they always remember me and mike when we come in and manager is always there working. Mike was admiring a western picture they had on the wall and the manager gave it to him. Always super nice and food is great

food always delicious and the service outstanding.

The fajitas are fantastic! Take my advice and order them a little charred. The service is great, prices are great. If you haven't been here before, you need to!

This place is awesome, i love that the food in large amount for the price, the food comes comes out cook fresh and hot, the service was so good , this the best Mexican food I had

It was okay but I think some of the prices should have been lower but doing this pandemic it seems like everything is high or people just trying to get paid for stuff that does not need to be that high. But i guess if people are paying more for supplies has to charge more.

I ate here with my family. Great staff, they were very friendly. Not to mention the food arrived quickly and tasted great. I highly recommend this place

Incredibly good. We had the carne asada. Wonderfully seasoned. Spicy and flavorful.

Our waiter was very polite and we had a to go order for about 8 people. Not one order was messed up or wrong. The food was excellent also. Would definitely dine her again.

The food is so very good, everytime. The prices are fantastic! I just got the chicken enchiladas with the green tomatillos and it was fantastic. The service is like being invited into a friendly Mexican family home.

Much like Cheers, El Tap is one of those local institutions that will genuinely treat you like family. My parents eat here at least once a week, and by the time they make it to their table from the front door, their regular drink orders are waiting for them along with their queso and pico de gallo. The owner is almost always there and works just as hard as the waitstaff, and it’s clear that everyone enjoys working there. Sure, it isn’t the fanciest Mexican food in town, but the flavors are just as authentic as the people.
