The boudin kolache disappeared so quick I had to do a donut in the parking lot and get another

In a 1200+ mile radius there are 2 places in Lake charles that have the best donuts I have ever had in that distance in my entire life and donut king has the absolute best donuts I ever had. They are so amazing that I can not even eat donuts anywhere else in the country that come close to 1/16th as good as donut king and the flavor has not changed in over 28+ years that I have had chocolate donuts from donut king. They should have a score of 12 out of 10 stars. Better than having ice cream for the first time is how I would describe how beyond perfect their donuts are.

Love love love this place!! Best donuts ever! ??

Delicious melt in your mouth glazed donuts!!!!! Love them!!! Friendly staff and fast drive thru service! Great prices too!

My daughter and I stopped by for the first time while visiting the area and we loved these donuts. The employee was so nice and sweet. The frosting was delicious. If you’re passing through Lake Charles the Donut King is worth a visit!

Great place fresh donuts daily goes great with coffee

The day after Ramadan I set up a breakfast for a Muslim coworker that just completed nearly 30 days of fasting during daylight hours. I planned in advance and ordered 2 dozen donuts, a dozen boudin kolaches and specifically asked for 2 roast beef kolaches to be specifically placed in a separate bag. I set up the food and gave the coworker the special bag telling him that it was roast beef so it was safe to eat. He bit into the kolache and it was ham and cheese. He immediately went to the garbage can and started vomiting the food up since as a Muslim he can not eat pork. I was mortified. I accidently gave a Muslim friend pork to eat after a sacred Muslim holiday. I apologized as much as I could and called Donut King. They said that sometimes they get their trays mixed up. Immediately drove back to Donut King to give them a piece of my mind. You would think that they would had refunded me the entire order since due to their error they had the special guest of a breakfast throwing up in the middle of the meal. It ruined everything. They were only willing to pay for the 2 wrong kolaches and give me the 2 correct kolache. Fortunately I was able to purchase a dozen roast beef kolache and give them to the coworker to apologize for the error. Never again will I go to this establishment. Their error had a Muslim eating pork and now I am totally ashamed to violate a person's sacred religious beliefs. Never again.
