Cashier is always courteous and she has been working there for years. The food is always great as it should be. The years that they have been in business shows that this is the place to go in Lake Charles for burgers, shrimp and fish dinners and chicken sandwiches.
Looking for a lunch spot passing through and I feel so lucky to have found this hidden gem. Doesn't look like a diner from the outside, but I knew from the amount of cars in the parking lot and in the drive thru line that it had to be good. During the lunch rush you may have to wait in line but it wasn't terrible and it was worth the wait in my opinion. Food came out fairly quick and was deliciously fresh. I'd come back any time I'm passing through here.
If you can find this hidden jewel, it is worth the trouble of searching! Absolutely charming old school diner. The cashier (Sweet Pea) was so sweet and friendly. The food was excellent. We will now make this a certain stop when going through Lake Charles!
First off this place does not look a restaurant and if your not looking for it, then u might just pass it by. When the locals say it's a hidden gem they aren't lying. This place has a old fashioned diner vibe and the customer service is outstanding. Everything is made FRESH to order and handmade. We were on business and definitely will be coming back each time we visit.
Let me say, there is no sign for this local hamburger joint. So if you are not a local, you might miss it and if you do then you did miss it. Great service! Priced right! You need to try this busy place! There was always a line and people did not care and they kept coming in and waiting for their food! Amazing!
Traveling thru the area & looked this up online, was very happy! Great place with fresh cooked to order sandwiches, onion rings & fries. Could tell it is a local favorite with the traffic & we would highly recommend. Their sign was still damaged from the 2021 Hurricane as several other business's so use GPS and support this wonderful local business with great food & wonderful staff!
Excellent service, the cashier was very respectful. I got the Bacon cheese burger with all the fixin’s and catfish dinner excellent. Onion rings were shredded and fried.My only regret was I didn’t get more burgers.
