I ordered a turkey and cheese poboy, my wife ordered a steak and cheese poboy. When we got our plates, my wife steak and cheese was greese, even her plate had drips of grees on it. It didn't have any seasoning to it.My plate had drips of greese on it. We bought the complaint to the manager and she got sarcastic. We will never go back again!
This family owned restaurant has good food and really great service. The employees know customers by name, and are happy to serve in any way they can.
Love the gumbo. But $17 a bowl is way too much. Stop there everytime I'm in town. Never again.

Found this little gem of a hole in the wall. Laid back and Super sweet people. Very good breakfast options and good pricesQ¹!. Buscuit and gravy was amazing. When im in Lake Charles ill be eating here for breakfast!
Always has been a great place to go chill and eat real quick, food is ok service is great. Nothing bad to say about a quick feed diner like this. Recommend the Shrimp and grits
So we showed up 40 minutes till close, not gonna lie kinda expected some half hearted upset employees to be in the place, nope we were greeted like we were family, waitress was prompt to take our drink orders, she waisted no time getting or drinks to us and in the same fashion she took our good order, and in less than 15 minutes my massive bowl of chicken and sausage gumbo was on the table ready for me to enjoy ( had to get more rice because I like mine cost too rice and heavy style than soup ) she keeps up with my ability to empty my cup rather quickly, all in all it was a great experience food and service was well worth it
