Went tonight because it was Cinco De Mayo and it was convenient from where I work. I have been in the past and had better experiences but the quality has taken a turn downwards. The establishment was not overly busy as it was before 5pm. The service was it's saving grace as the bartenders and staff were prompt friendly and on point. The food on the other hand is better at other Mexican establishments. I would come again for appetizers and drinks but food needs improvement.
Marco was the BEST server ever!! He did everything perfect & I accidently left my to go box on the table and before i could go in to get it, he came out to the parking lot with my box!!Thank you Marco!
Went for lunch, big portions on the lunch menu, so big I had enough for dinner. Service was fast and the fajita asadas were amazing.
Food was most excellent. Waitress was friendly did a good job for as busy as they were and place is gorgeous.. loved the live music too
We always have fun and delicious food at tampicos! Best salsa and guac! Andres was our server this weekend, and he's amazing! We felt like he was one of our close friends!
Good food. (Not as good as my San Antonio Mexican food), but it was good. They even had a DJ and small dance area (real small). Bar drinks where on point.

One of the best experiences I had the food was great one of the waitresses there I think her name was lexis she made it says it an awesome experience and I strongly suggest that anybody that visits tampico's in Lafayette all right y'all later we had to give her $100 we would drive all the way from Lake Charles go back to tippy toes for the food and the waitress in the atmosphere absolutely beautiful.
