People are very nice! Lacey was my server, and she helped me with the menu and checked on me frequently. Great personality! Everything she suggested turned out great! Get the bacon!

It was good and Julie was great as our server. Nice for a breakfast stop. We went in initially for the beignets and of course they were great! The smoked sausage was delicious.

My prayers were answered when I was looking for a unique Louisana-Cajun-Hole-in-the-wall-creole type of restaurant where I could have a non-traditional type of breakfast last minute as I was heading back to Texas. THANK YOU JESUS!!! I didn’t even have to get on my phone to search a restaurant. This place is just what I was looking for (except the hole in the wall although it does seem to be in a shopping center built in the 1950s that never got a facelift). What really drew me in was when I saw young teenagers, middle aged adults and elderly people walking into a restaurant during rush hour traffic on a school day!!! I would never let my kids skip class to go eat at mediocre restaurant!!! Would you?! And my theory was right. Food was good, service was great, place was clean and not over priced!!!! I honestly haven’t had that feeling of satisfaction and happiness when leaving a breakfast joint in a long time. THANK YOU JESUS!!! I’m def coming back if I’m ever in the area.

What wonderful food! The servers and the cooks were so friendly! I am sorry that I don't know about delivery or curbside. We wanted to go in and enjoy the place of course!

Food is good. Loved that they left a coffee dispenser on my table so I could serve myself. I hadthe creamed spinach and sausage omelet. Yummy.

YUK!!! Their Breakfast items are seasoned with perhaps garlic salt? We could taste it in the eggs and pancakes. The biscuit was hard and dry. The eggs were ordered "over easy". The yolk was hard as a rock. If it weren't for the grits and bacon, it would have been a total washout. As we were leaving, I did hear a waitress placing an order and said "No seasoning". Keep that in mind if you go.

The smothered rabbit (Monday plate special) was absolutely amazing - an awesome Cajun classic brilliantly executed - and the warm and unpretentious setting and service remind me of why Lafayette is a magical place. What’s not to love?

I’d give it a 10 if possible. So damn good. 1st, be hungry, real hungry. My wife and I should have split a plate. 2nd, you can order off a menu, not just what’s on the steamer table - even though we did and it was so good. 3rd, come a little past lunch as it’s crowded. We had black beans n rice and the pork meatball fricassee and they were outstanding. You gotta try this place. And the owner is very nice.

Such a great food experience! I had the biscuits and Gravy which were unique to me...corned beef meat in the gravy. SO good! The beignets were good. Nice large menu with lots of yummy choices! I wish I had more time here I would have eaten here every day!

Delicious, kind staff, Lacey was or server and she was not only great at her job but also have us some recommendations on some much needed auto repair caused by finding a ladder in the middle of the freeway near by. We had the Tcoon breakfast and the crawfish omelette, they both pack a wallop of flavor, and the serving size will leave you looking for someone to carry you home. Cool local diner.
